    Kyrgios' backhand is so weird, he hits it with literally no spin but it still is a very reliable shot.

      Yeah it is quite weird but the thing that amazes me is how he generates so much power with that “power slap forehand “ as I call it which I haven’t seen anyone else who can do it quite like him, seems like he can hit it anywhere he wants in the court plus he’s so casual in his play style - really hope he comes back to play tennis again as every match I’ve watched him play is entertaining and while he can be controversial to a lot of people you have to admit he has some serious talent

    What makes Nick so good along with his natural talent is that he doesn’t add too much pressure on himself in high stakes situations.
    Genuinely good example of how to handle being match point down, relax and trust your game.

      Well, you know, I reckon that, yeah, to some extent, he does that. But, you see, when he's really under a lot of pressure and can't come up with any good ideas, he just tries to mess with the other person's head, you know, using those mind tricks and stuff, just like what happened here. And if that doesn't do the trick, he completely loses focus and goes crazy.

      i've had similar mentality issues to kyrgios in tennis (without the talent) and i think he wore out most of his frustration in the first two sets, sometimes you get it out of you early and are able to just settle down and focus.

    Didn't watch this match live, but I remember refreshing the page every five seconds waiting for the score to update during that second set tiebreak. Honestly so intense, even if I couldn't see anything.

    Kyrgios is an absolute joy to watch. It seems like he never even breaks a sweat with his casual, effortless play. A true entertainer and he's missed with his absence in the past couple years.
