To be honest your diet seems pretty back to normal which is a good thing. I have had a bag for 5 days but unfortunately I still have a little bit of chrons in some parts of my other bowel so I have to keep my diet strict otherwise in 7months they may not be able to join me.

Do you not eat the tomatoes because they dont do well with you or just because your not big on them? I love tomatoes when I eat Mexican like that.

Great to see what you eat in a day. I’ve been lucky so far and did the same as you as introducing new foods slowly in the beginning, but now that everything is more consistent I know what to expect most of the time. I feel like I’m able to eat almost anything I want except raw veggies scare me a bit still.

I really appreciate this video. Although everyone is different, it is good to see what other ostomates eat. I think I may try vitamin water. Dehydration has also been an issue for me. Thanks again!

Need to GAIN weight ASAP after ileostomy due to cancer colon blocked. Only have 1/3 stomach from cancer surgery 7 years ago, so that makes it even more challenging to eat alot. Have lost 20lbs and need to regain AT LEAST 15

Hey Amber, great as always! I never knew (until you said in a previous video) that Green Beans would be a safe option for ostomates. I find it hard to get over introducing tomato sauce back in tot he diet as it was a trigger for my UC. So now I try a little bit on homemade pizzas but not too much - just in case.
If you want a quick n easy recipe amd stuggle with tomatos, perhaps try the white sauce variety.
    Homemade pizza:
Plain Naan bread, Alfredo sauce or tomato pasta sauce (aldi), Turkey Bacon or smoked chicken andouille sausages (trader joes) and shredded cheese from either of the above stores. Its one of my go-to's. Fast to make, easy to eat, transport to work. It takes 15 minutes make/cook.
    Happy munchin'

For people who need help on how to eat well with this medical condition, this is the least helpful video I’ve ever seen. I’m sorry but people need to know that they can be hydrated in more health conscious ways, yes it takes time, yes it takes money, but your body deserves better than that. You can drink coconut water, get good quality electrolytes, drink bone broth, so many more nutritious options. I’m glad your videos are helping some people but if my mom watched this who has an ileostomy I would be heart broken.
