Yes! Don't use regular liquid food/easter egg dye from the store. It's made with WATER & even a single drop of water will make the chocolate seize up and it will be unusable. Use gel food coloring.
Yep, I learned that lesson the hard way last year. Wish I had a Jessica to let me know I couldn’t do that. I also had a hard time finding gel food coloring 😢. But after a little searching I had success 😀.
Thank you for the video! It was so easy to follow and less intimidating of a project. I'm about to make a bunch of chocolate covered Oreos and other chocolate goodies for family Christmas gifts. Bought the mold and I'll be working on this when I'm off next week.
Thank you so much. This is a great video. I purchased some different chocolate molds from Amazon to make chocolate lollipops, decorated chocolate covered Oreos for my daughters confirmation party..🙏🏼💓
I know this is an older video; however, it is a fantastic tutorial - thank you! I like to avoid the mistakes others before me have made and learned from! :) I do have a question please. For the chocolate used to drizzle for decoration, did you also thin out with a bit of oil? Also, does the oil alter the taste? I saw some others commented coconut oil as an alternative.
Enjoyed your video - thank you! I just saw another tutorial that said if you have squiggly lines coming out it means you need to cut a little bigger hole.
Thank you so much Sonia for this detailed video. The final results are so pretty.. Gave me the confidence that I can do this too! I can see you also put love in sharing your knowledge. 🙏
I like these Oreo desserts but I'm a diabetic so what do you suggest that I do so that I can have at least a little bit of something that I enjoy every now and then?
Great tutorial! Is there a certain type of baking chips you used? For some reason, EVERY TIME I try to make mine, they are incredibly hard to bite into.
Wonderful video! So easy to follow, step by step! Making these tonight for a Sweet Sixteen party! Can't wait to see the end result! Thank you so much : )

Can any type of oil be used? Not a fan of the flavor of olive oil
I’m sure vegetable or canola would work.

Can you use any other kind of oil aside from olive oil?
I would use coconut oil or Crisco and let the Crisco melt into the melted chocolate.
Yes any kind should be ok

Just to thin out the chocolate it’s optional
