⚠️⚠️⚠️CAKE POP MEASUREMENTS SHOULD BE 1oz NOT 10oz.
When weighing your cake pop dough I stated in the video 10oz, I meant to say 1oz.
    MEASUREMENTS:
    Larger size - 1oz
    Smaller size - between .8ozs or .9ozs
More Information on Cake Pops in my Description box under my video just click the arrow pointing down on the right under the video.

Came back to say I tried this recipe. And out of every single recipe I’ve ever used THIS WAS THE ONE🌟 all others were fail, crumbly and just didn’t do it taste wise but this one you can adjust the sweetness and it doesn’t need the icing at all. It’s perfection. It’s like a cookie dough consistency. I’ll be following you for other tutorials as a fellow baker!!! Thank you for this video!!!!!!!❤

What an awesome tutorial... I loved it. I use cake box mixes substituting the oil with applesauce to avoid leakage from the pops. Like you, I cover the cake out of the oven to let it sweat overnight. Then I proceed to make my cake pops in the morningj. This method has made my life much easier. I will try out your recipe because it looks delicious! Many thanks!

Why not take the cake straight out of the pan, hot, and make the dough. It would basically steam itself during the mixing process.

    • @YourSweetConnection
      @YourSweetConnection  19 дней назад

You can do it that way as well, but I’ve been accustomed to doing this way for years, but it also depends on the recipe and how everything turns out and normally when I do my cake pops I’ll let it sit for a couple hours and then I start to shape them

So after you have made, the cake popped dough is you are developing the texture by leaving it out for that long six hours is the max some people leave them out for eight hours but once you master the recipe, you can actually create the cake pops within an hour. I just prefer to teach this way, so people can perfect the skill first.

*THANK YOU* for being literally the *ONLY* RUclipsr I've *EVER* seen to _actually_ use _gloves_ while dealing with the dough. It REALLY bothers me when I see cooks rolling dough with their *BARE HANDS.* 🤢🤮 ...and then *IMMEDIATELY* in the VERY NEXT SCENE they are casually rubbing their noses or scratching/running their fingers through their hair or playing with their pet. _Ugh._ I just find it all INCREDIBLY unhygienic and hard to watch. _Especially_ when you see that there is a _dog_ or _cat_ lingering constantly in the background while they prepare the food. I find myself wondering if they JUST got done petting their animal and went STRAIGHT to handling the dough, or if they JUST got done blowing their nose or scratching themselves.
THANK YOU for being both *clean* and *concise/easy to understand!* ❤️ I don't usually sub after watching just a single video from a channel, but I subbed to you _even before_ I finished this video. I REALLY appreciate you!

Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial and the instructions and hints below. I would like to know if you can freeze the cake pop with the candy coating on them in a freezable plastic bag? If so how long can they be in the freezer? Thank you.

Thank you ❤️ I would recommend to freeze the cake pop with the candy coating on them because they will potentially crack, but you can freeze the cake pop dough

Hai mam..if I don't get candy melts cn I use chocolate chips or chocolate bar or nutella spread to coat the cake pops.pls reply mam

Chocolate chips may not work as well depending on what type of chocolate chips you have if they’re baking chips, Skidamarink is the way you have to melt the chocolate in order for them to work

thank you!! I've been making my cake pops for years all wrong!!! I'm mostly a cake designer where I seldom have issues, but these darn cake pops are a thorn in my side. My biggest issue by far is the chocolate shell cracking. I make sure the temperature of my chocolate and dough are similar, and all the other techniques and still a hit or miss.
thanks again for creating a great video

Absolutely beautiful work. I’m sure it took a lot of work to perfect your technique. That made it easy for dental hygienists like me. Lol

Wish I would have found this video a few days ago when I started 120 cake pops…lol. I used a scoop to measure out my pops, and then rolled with my hands like you did, but I did have a few that fell off the stick. I used the Wilton chocolate and it looks like the A,mold bark May be a little thinner consistency hence why they look so smooth. I definitely will try this recipe next time. Cake pops (120) took me a while to make.
