The Chosen just gets better and better. This was a great Season and Episode 8 did not disappoint! I always like to choose a line from each episode that stands out to me and I think, “Goodbye, Chuza” does it for me in this episode. I love the character of Joanna. Always enjoy your insights, Bob, and enjoyed watching your channel with your two Jewish friends. Keep up the good work!

It really was a great season.
Absolutely, although I cried. It made me so sad. I know it’s a great thing about Jesus dying on the Cross for us, but I feel so bad that he had to go through it
Okay, my mind is now blown. I did not see the parallel of King David anointing the Lamb's feet with Mary of Bethany anointing the feet of Jesus jesus. Now that seems so obvious but at the time I did not see that connection. I mean, now that I think about it, King David even mentioned how you can really smell the oils when he was anointing the Lamb's feet. Wow! 🤯
I didn’t catch it the first time either. It was very obvious and I’m surprised I didn’t catch it. I thought it was a great finale.

If you are familiar with the writings of the Apostle Paul, then you realize who Shmuel is. When I realized that they were hinting at him being Saul of Tarsus, my first thought was that they have went from preaching to meddling. By the time the episode was over, they had turned that meddling into preaching. The writing on this show is truly inspired it seems, even when it's not biblical.😎
I’ve heard some other people suggest that he is Saul of Tarsus as well. It’s an interesting thought. We’ll have to see where his story goes.

It was a good episode but when it ended I felt like… that was it?
An episode with much to take in. I am beyond disappointed with what’s happened to Schmuel.
Watch that interaction again between Jesus and Schmuel. Many clues suggest that Schmuel's time is coming. On the road to Damascus perhaps? Jesus says he can see the sincerity in his eyes. Perhaps the scales will fall off of those eyes one day?😎
