I can't believe it's already your fall and my spring! Fall fishing has a certain feel to it that I really like, specially when you catch a bunch of fish haha
Man this season went quick. You’ll be back on the ice before you know it. 2nd one was really nice and healthy looking. 5:51 slomo was awesome Sean!!!! Another nice one with great underwater release!!! Cool Picture in Picture use on the catches 👍 13 landed in an hour and half 💪🏻
Badger Lake in late late Sept/ early October. Thanks Paul. Just bought an NRS Pike Pro a few weeks back but won’t get out until the spring. Kayak fishing will be completely new to me so appreciate any lake or river suggestions from an Calgary area fishermen
There are a lot of great places for kayaks. If you look back at all of our early season locations, there is plenty to choose from within an hour to an hour and a half. In Spring I would suggest Eagle Lake, Clear Lake and Chain Lake. Eagle and Clear are no good in summer due to algae growth, but great spring lakes.
Thank-you. I should maybe ask this question the relevant video.. but i really got excited by your Glenmore Reservoir posting. I understand why the city doesn’t allow motorized boats and swimmers and it also makes snea that they don’t want inflatables and paddleboard in there. But will they have an issue with my inflatable kayak? Not sure what the difference is between that and yours so wondering if you have thoughts on that?
Hi Sean! Nice to see you getting out. The last few days in Edmonton were quite cold. I think this weekend is nice again, so hopefully you can get out again. I've enjoyed you sharing techniques and info in the videos. Especially when you explain the adjustments you make during the day.
My absolute favourite time of the year! Too bad it's such a short season. I think this weekend will be my last day in the kayak. I will do some pike fishing, maybe trout, from shore until end of October. After that I am waiting for ice. November is the longest month of the year haha. Cheers
got my self a nice rainbow trout at rowling hills res. last sunday it was a total surprise it fought good i thought it was a nice pike or walleye the way it fought.caught it on a you guess it a len thompson no 0 silver spoon.also got a pike on a bucktail jig .regulations say no trout in rowling hills,
Love Fall fishing , caught my biggest Pike and my biggest Musky in late October. Cool split screen footage Sean ! Another killer day out there. So I know you’ve blown away the 100 Pike goal , what are you up to now ?
Wow! 13 fish in almost 2 hours it's awesome! I have a question: I see your break on the reel is completely tightened. Is it on purpose? Usually I release it a bit to avoid getting fish unhooked when it shakes too much.
Thanks for the suggestions. I don't know a lot of locations for creek pike so will need to do some research. Will try to put in more footage of casts, but I troll a lot of the time so we don't cast that often.
Awesome start to the first half! Great number of pike in a short period of time. The Len Thompson was getting a workout! Fall fishing is so awesome.
Indeed, gotta love it
Fantastic presentation, Angling Spiders! Looks and sounds amazing! Excellent sharing. Continued success. God bless.

I got out one last time this weekend, supposed to be -10 later this week
Nice to see badger at a higher water capacity than most other southern reservoirs. Liking the fall content Sean!
Thanks and agree, it is one of the few spots where the water is still up.

Nice, the Len Thompsons are great at this time of year for sure

Thanks. I will try to update the pike count in a future video. I should be getting close to 150
Where do you get into the water when you go to badger lake
The best place to launch is the west side boat launch
Wow! 13 fish in almost 2 hours it's awesome! I have a question: I see your break on the reel is completely tightened. Is it on purpose? Usually I release it a bit to avoid getting fish unhooked when it shakes too much.
It isn't actually completely tight. There are a few cases where you can see the fish taking line.
@@AnglingSpiders ok, sorry I have not seen that.
Asking for advice? I'd like to see videos of river or creek pike, and see the whole cast instead of just the hooked fish
Thanks for the suggestions. I don't know a lot of locations for creek pike so will need to do some research. Will try to put in more footage of casts, but I troll a lot of the time so we don't cast that often.
