Wow, that looks like a completely different lake when compared to last year! Good to see there’s some decent fishing despite the drastic water level changes!
Wow what a difference! We also have had a very cool wet spring/summer to date. Last couple years were dry and hot. Still have a couple months to go but I wanna say the fishing has been better this year than last couple years
That's a great price! I make my own from 100# fluoro, and it works out to about $1.50 per leader. It is insane what some outfitters charge for fishing tackle. I've seen hand tied ugly fluor leaders for muskie and they were asking $15 per leader 😂
Great that the water level is back up, the difference is pretty amazing. Two Pike in the first thirty minutes…. many a time I’ve been on the water for two hours or more before I find my first Bass. Eight Pike makes for a great day in my book. I don’t know how you get out of the wind with the openness of the terrain around those lakes though.
Slayed the pike! Good to see the water levels up. The nice thing about low levels is no boats but kayaks can still get out. Also less water to cover to get on the fish. Looks like a decent reel. Can you change the handle to the other side? 👍
wow...what a difference in water levels!!! Glad it's back up! I'd take that small Pike ( 2nd fish) all day long Sean!!! Funny with the other one u thought was small ended up being a toad!!! looks like the new crankbait works!!! Good stuff Sean!!!
Great vid! I’m really curious about the average size at twin valley because I went for the first time yesterday and I caught a 28”, 35” and a 27”er.
Nice, I would say that 24 to 28" is the standard range. Nice that you got a 35
good looking Pike Sean. Glad to see the water levels fishable.
Thanks
What a difference a year makes with the water levels. Nice session on the Pike and some good luck with that lure and the hand. Well done Sean!
Thanks Larry, appreciate it

Yep, big change, but needed
Good looking pike as usual! Great day for the yak 😊
Thanks, fun day out there

Yes, it seems to be a bit better this year hee as well. Hopefully that will continue
Must have been tough to locate them with the water being up! Glad to see you got on some healthy pike. Those Princess Auto lures were killing em!
Thanks, so nice to see that reservoir rebound
Nice day out there. Looked like good weather.
For sure!
Good thing about us yak guys as we can launch anytime! Keep those boaters out of our way, but this year you might be fighting the wakes hehe
Definitely seeing more boats
That was good day, those Catch'em Big Lures sure work well
Yep, as you know!
hopefully, with tomorrows rain, it will help keep our resivoirs stable.
another great video
Thanks, seems to be good so far, but lots of heat and sun in the forecast
That reel looks premium and I’ve heard good things about them, and some nice northerns to test it out. Pike 3 definitely chunky! 🤙😎
Thanks, they sent me a different one as well - both seem excellent
WoW! That’s Incredibly Awesome! Have A Great Weekend! Cheers!🥂🤩❤️✨
Thanks, you too!
I go to PA for fishing gear all the time. Last year. $3 for two titanium leaders. They are awesome. I went back and bought 10 more.

Nice, I didn't see those there so will need to go back and check

Thanks, some places it is almost impossible to get out of the wind, so you just have to stop fishing

Thanks Chris, the bigger ones trick me sometimes because they swim towards the kayak
nice sharing
Thank you! Cheers!
You picked up some nice looking pike
Thanks
princess auto who knew thanks for the tip
Not sure if every location has them, I need to check some others
Not a bad lake to fish at all. But 5 hours and 8 pike and 3 right at the boat. Trolling seemed to produce the most catches.
Yes, I do catch a lot more trolling because I can cover more area of the lake
There’s a great spot on the south side of the big island.
Good to know, thanks
Genuine question Sean but like since starting Kayaking have you noticed your arms getting stronger and bigger?
Sorry for the late reply. My arms aren't any bigger, but way stronger. I also have way more core strength
What model Is your Kayak
Pelican Mission 100
