"Open a portal to Hell in his basement. Sure, why not?" Because it might be in violation with construction codes and safety violations? You need first to submit your plans to the county so they can give the ok. A portal to Hell can be seen as unlawful property expansion since you gain access to additional area than stipulated in the contract. There might also be environmental concerns regarding its impact on nearby flora and fauna and it can lower the property value for a certain radius surrounding the portal. All in all you're looking at heavy fines and a raised property tax, not to mention your insurance premium skyrockets.
@@YourPoint1981 It's ok, they fixed it. They sold the property to a gay couple with a recently adopted baby and another from a previous straight marriage. The property value went through the roof. Even Satan drops by their neighborhood BBQ parties to mingle with the mortals and relax. that version is the original version, where melissa is dragged into the ground is the directors cut (it’s on youtube for free), & fun fact, it was only added because of the success of the original movie, which allowed the director to go back and make the ending he wanted with the money.
Which makes no sense if they took bodies out of the hotel basement like the original said. If they got dragged into a portal then what about the bodies?
17:27 Probably the most important part of the video for me. I had no idea it was always planned to be a trilogy. That helps with a lot of the frustration I felt. Thank you!
Wow I saw this movie awhile back and had no idea there was two sequels lol, thanks for giving me something to watch tonight and cant wait for the other two videos
As someone who is an artist and actress for a professional haunted house, this movie really intrigued me. I had a great time watching it and got a lot of laughs out of it
I must say that this particular Found Footage Horror, is one of the creepiest. From the jump scares, to the dark frame intermission, to moving puppets I highly recommend this film.
Please do an Ending Explained for the movie Martyrs. I always wondered about the ending & I'm curious to hear what you think about it. I love your videos!
The pentagram in the basement isn't evil, since it's right-side up. Point up, it's a Circle of Protection, keeps out dark energy and helps you contain dark energies if you decide to conjure them. Point down, it's a focal point for entities and un-welcome friendos, darker energy and the way to make deals with particular beings that REALLY like souls.
Question. If you draw a pentagram on the floor would it come down to what you intended to draw or do you need to be in the right spot for it. This has been something ive been curious about with pentagrams specifically
Hell House llc is hands down my favorite found footage film of all time!!! I've watched this movie more than any other film ever. The writer/director did an absolute brilliant job creating this piece of cinematic horror gold!!! I too, purchased the extended version, but actually liked the original better. I think more than anything people fear the unknown. I preferred catching just a glimpse of the demons coming out of the basement wall and then letting my morbid imagination take over.
I love watching recaps of something I've already watched and enjoyed. It's fun to catch someone else''s perspective. Also I always miss small details!!
Not going to lie, this is one of the BEST horror movies ive ever seen, the sheer amount of suspense and uncertainty that was captured in this really kept me on edge right till the end. One of those absolute hidden gems.
y'all ever seen the blue skeleton?? it's SUCH a good movie imo, it's found footage style and it's based around a group of people trying to find this haunted house experience that's like hard to find. not the best at explaining, but it's really good edit: i made a typo & fixed it edit 2: it's actually called "the house that october built"
Its called The House that October build. Blue skeleton is the group that goes after them. And for not liking found footage movies, it is pretty good. There is a sequel to it that i liked better then the first one.
Not only was it a fun movie with some actually scary moments, despite being rather formulaic, but it finally showed what happens to the people killed inside the haunted house. I always thought what would happen to the souls of those people. "Dude, why did you kill me? I don't even know you!" "We're lonely."
I watch a lot of horror; and this is in my top 15-20 horror movies of all time. Extremely effective for me and is one that has excellent (and often rare in horror) rewatch ability
@@philliplallathin2341 If you haven't seen the sequels you totally have to. They actually don't suck and the third one i like almost more than the first. I don't think that's something I've found in any movie series besides liking Terminator 2 more than the first one.
YES I love this movie! I didn't know there was a director's cut, though! I just watch it on Amazon Prime. So, now I need to find that. I've seen the sequel, and, like you said, it kind of reveals too much and takes away the mystery, but it's still interesting to find out the secrets of the house. Can't wait to see your video on it!

If I sensed some supernatural shit and my "good friend" told me to stay there because he doesn't believe in those, then he's my ex good friend.
Yeah friendship is chill and all but being alive sounds way cooler ?
My common sense kicking in be like
" I don't believe it's haunted come on that's just made up " - my friend
" Bruh i want to live so id rather live than find out for myself.... " - me
if you have no friends, then larry from come play is going get you
Ok, that woman in the floor part was spooky even with no movie audio and you talking...
Matthew Johnson i had to pause at that point it was too much
While watching the film*
Wait what point are you talking about?
Nathan C when the guy hides under the covers and theres a zombie type girl sitting on the wall next to his bed
@@VeNoMziV ohh yeah you said "in the floor" so I was confused. I had to pause the movie like 5 times when I saw that
Upside down crosses? Aah! Another haunting by St. Peter!
😂
Last time I saw crosses go upside down it ended with a warren banishing a valak back to hell
right like everytime someone says its the devil im like, eh nah, thats saint peter
For anyone curious in the responses, the apostle Peter was crucified upside down because he believed he wasn’t worthy to be crucified in the same manner as Jesus.
9:02PM watching Foundflix in the dark feels like a horror movie 😭
I'm from Southeast Asia, it's 9am, ruins the mood but I'll watch Found Flix anytime.
Damn its only 7 where I'm at
3 am here.. makes the video 10x scarier
It’s the same for me too
It’s actually 3000bc over here. My cave is being attacked by a norse god & some mammoths. Send help pls
Fun fact! Abbadon is from the book of revelations, in Hebrew abbadon is the angel of death.
@Brandon Sutton King David did wHaT!
Isn't he a king War not a King of a Bed?
Actually it's a demon that guards the gate . Not an angel unless you want to refer to it as a fallen angel

This. This is the comment that literally made me laugh out loud.
@@YourPoint1981 It's ok, they fixed it. They sold the property to a gay couple with a recently adopted baby and another from a previous straight marriage. The property value went through the roof. Even Satan drops by their neighborhood BBQ parties to mingle with the mortals and relax. You can't get him to shut up about crypto and NFTs, but considering his previous actions on the premise it's an improvement. Baby steps and all that.

This movie is better than I thought it would be. surprised!

This might sound weird, but your voice is like super calming. 😂
I just finished watching this movie and immediately decided to watch your breakdown because they're always so good. this movie was a surprisingly good watch for a found-footage-low-budget-haunted-satanist-house movie cliche. I genuinely would watch it again!!!
this kinda reminds me of The Houses October Built
Is that the one where the friends go searching for the best haunted house in the country
Shmeed yes
I shoot I literally thought that was this movie 😂 my bad
Agustin Colon,
I did, too.
I'm getting old. My brain's going soft.
What's your excuse?
The Houses October Built was a much better movie in my opinion.
I prefer Ned Flanders’ Halloween “Heck House”

He's here to scare the H e double sippy straws out of them
Hehehehehe😁
haha lmao
"What's better than a haunted house?"
Me: A grilled cheese sandwich with pepper jack cheese instead of regular cheddar, add jalapenos poppers, and drip a little tomato sauce on top.
Jonathan Ybarra that’s actual God Food
Gross.
Omg that sounds like it slaps
Is tomatoe sauce just a fancy way to say ketchup?
Yeah it's god food though it'll send ya to him if you eat to much
This movie surprised me with how much I liked it. The sequel... not so much.
Part 3 is up on Shudder. I liked how they ended the trilogy.
Agreed. The third is better however but still has a, in my opinion, corny/silly ending.
@@nunyanunya4964 Oh didn't know there was a third I'll have to check it out.
Yours is one of the only channels I actively wait for videos from. I can binge your videos and never get bored. Whether I’ve seen it or not, I just always enjoy your take and breakdown. Much love, sir! Keep it up! 💕❤️

Awesome movie, shit ending. Worth the watch though despite the crap ending.
you should watch all of them theres a trilogy, awesome movies the second called Hell House LLC 2 The Abaddon Hotel, and the last Hell House LLC Lake of Fire, you will understand they tie in together, and don't miss the ending in the closing credits of the last movie

Krispy sequals to a found footage movie so probably not.

The version I saw didn't have Melissa dragged down into a hole, she died still chained to the ceiling by her arms.
Same man
that version is the original version, where melissa is dragged into the ground is the directors cut (it’s on youtube for free), & fun fact, it was only added because of the success of the original movie, which allowed the director to go back and make the ending he wanted with the money.
So how did Melissa and all those 15 people die?
@@Joru0906 through that portal

Wow I saw this movie awhile back and had no idea there was two sequels lol, thanks for giving me something to watch tonight and cant wait for the other two videos

I legit thought. Who tf is Josh?
Paul: fuck I am horny.

He also said Alex was mad at Paul on the floor. Mac and Tony were the ones to find him with Mac being angry. Alex was upstairs with Sara
Great hidden gem of a horror movie! One of my all-time found footage favorites.
Just finished it before watching this ahhh yeah they do a great job with the low budget
the basement scenes were suspenseful
Yeah that bugged me a little.
THANK YOUUU
Question.
If you draw a pentagram on the floor would it come down to what you intended to draw or do you need to be in the right spot for it.
This has been something ive been curious about with pentagrams specifically
@@Graycata based solely on a guess i would assume it would either be intent based or you would use True North.
I feel like Dead Meat And Foundflix shouls like switch chanels for one episode.
I love watching recaps of something I've already watched and enjoyed. It's fun to catch someone else''s perspective. Also I always miss small details!!
I watched these multiple times trying to make sense of it all. This director’s cut makes everything make sense immediately!
oh man I absolutely ADORED this movie. This and Lake Mungo are some of the best horror Mockumentaries out there IMO.

Not going to lie, this is one of the BEST horror movies ive ever seen, the sheer amount of suspense and uncertainty that was captured in this really kept me on edge right till the end. One of those absolute hidden gems.

Please do an Ending Explained for the french Canadian horror movie Martyrs, not the remake
Yes!
y'all ever seen the blue skeleton?? it's SUCH a good movie imo, it's found footage style and it's based around a group of people trying to find this haunted house experience that's like hard to find. not the best at explaining, but it's really good
edit: i made a typo & fixed it
edit 2: it's actually called "the house that october built"
Its called The House that October build. Blue skeleton is the group that goes after them. And for not liking found footage movies, it is pretty good. There is a sequel to it that i liked better then the first one.
Ashley Hildebrandt yes! that's exactly what it's called. and i did not know there was a sequel so i'll have to look into that
Vanessa Velasquez omg that movie was AMAZING
Cool, I’ll have to check it out, I think I’ve heard of that somewhere before...🤔👍

Not only was it a fun movie with some actually scary moments, despite being rather formulaic, but it finally showed what happens to the people killed inside the haunted house. I always thought what would happen to the souls of those people.
"Dude, why did you kill me? I don't even know you!"
"We're lonely."
