I was skeptical about using only three eggs. I made this cake and a lemon pound cake yesterday for our ladies at church that are struggling with life at a home for abused women and some with addictions. I have no idea what it tastes like but it smelled heavenly! I put them in the freezer to keep fresh and then I’m going to take them to church Sunday and make my lovely ladies promise to give honest feedback! I’m thinking about making another one this evening. It was so easy and quick to put together. If it tastes as good as it smells then I know it will be delicious! Thanks for sharing! ❤❤ I like your straightforward presentation!
I'm almost in tears. This is the 1st video I've ever ever seen using a hand mixer for a pound cake. Only thing I want to know how to substitute half the sugar with Splenda. I have family that's diabetic that loves pound cake but they can't have the full amount of sugar. 😥😥 #alexa

How long do you cook othe loaf pans?
I would start checking at the 25 min mark as I have never baked this in a loaf pan

I say go for it! I haven't tried, but I have used Splenda for other recipes and it usually works out. Come back and let us know if it worked for you.
