+ a vid i made
I can't hide, no
On the mantle
I'm not sad
Until I'm home
It's the season
I'm all reason
I have seen
All I have grown
Sheared at the seams
Cheat on me
And not seen
At the seams
I'm a lender
I'm a planter
I put something
In the garden
In the handle
On the mantle
I met Santa
I met God
I'm a lady
Can you save me?
It's the sulfur
I have grown
'Tis the season
I'm all reason
I have fleas
So run on home Видеоклипы
Why don't people understand Nirvana, it's pure emotion in song form, raw and painful, and they're one of the only bands to ever make out of tune-ness work.
For me, listening to Nirvana is like ripping open old wounds, enjoyable, ritualistic and oh so very painful.
I have been a big Nirvana fan since the first time I heard Bleach around 1991. This is one of my all time favorite Nirvana songs, and my favorite to perform. Rough, abrasive and doused in stream-of-consciousness negativity, yet still humorous and almost playful.
perfect description!
The way Kurt screams at 1:03 😍😍😍😍
fuck yeh
Second verse is Kurt's best vocal performance imo
yea it is quite pleasingly repelling. in a good way.. like maybe how a bug feels being drenched in lysol...
odiumimbues After googling what the hell Lysol is, I concur.
Lennon's voice used to be completely gone after singing Twist and Shout.
I imagine Kurt's would have been the same after this gem.
One of my favourite Nirvana songs of all-time. It captures the chaos, sonic fury and (as Randy Perot so aptly put) stream of consciousness lyrics that were the embodiment of the band. Love it!
RIP KURT HEAVEN TRUELLY GAINED AN ANGEL WHEN U LEFT US ALL ALONE .........................
Nirvana had this "heavy"-grunge period.
Love it.
Then had some "calm"-grunge songs.
Love them.
Then, loved Nirvana.
Where the HELL did this come from?! Best NIRVANA song I've never heard!
***** Great song; thx for the info!
check out also: Blandest, If you must, Verse Chorus Verse, Moist Vagina, Token Eastern Song (or Born in a Junkyard), I hate myself and I want to die, Do Re mi etc
S.A. Hogan and sappy of course
S.A. Hogan and old age (kurt solo acoustic), even in his youth too
FF FF, you're on a roll! Thx, I will!
This is truly, in my mind, one of Nirvana's strongest tracks. I think this was the one that was paired with (on a split 7 inch) with Jesus Lizards 'Puss', also an insanely strong track.
Oh whoops. that was 'Oh The Guilt', an equally monster song.
Nirvana were my teenage years and still have a place as my all time favourite band. "Sheared at the seams!"
i met santa i met god
i love santa i met god
Anything kurt thinks or says is gold everysong you lean back and listen to is such a bunch of random thoughts put together pure genius considering nowadays singers use 20 song writers to make one simple song
1:29 - Holy shit look at his pupils
When you are taken heroin, your pupils must be small or the stuff was fucking bad!!!
space_witch666 EVG
Maybe he was withdrawing at the time or was on uppers.
space_witch666 EVG tu te grattes pas mal aussi
Fabrice de courtenay speak English please
Jason Murphy At the picture 1:29 he is feeling bad or is taken amphetamines or speeds, I guess. You're right.
favorite of nirvana, along with pennyroyal tea and heart shaped box
rip kurt
Part of the brilliance of this song (and Nirvana) was that this was recorded live in the studio in ONE take- no overdubs- no corrections.
Cheat on me! :(

I'm a huge Nirvana fan but for some reason this song in particular makes me feel very uncomfortable I love it at the same time.

as I replied in this section a few months ago, the guy at the start is Rob Morrow, who was hosting Saturday Night Live for the first Nirvana appearance on SNL. Rob Morrow was the star of the early 90's tv show "Northern Exposure".
Rob Morrow, the star of the early 90's TV show "Northern Exposure". Rob was hosting Saturday Night Live when Nirvana did their historic first SNL show, which is what that clip was.

Before the internet , mp3s and technology destroyed music

@@luketheduke02 I was very ignorant thank you for enlightening me I am very sorry
Holy shit what a RIFF!
oh my god awesome
yeah me to! got this back in 94' good times!
one of nirvanas greatest strengths was their ability to have so many completely different sounding songs, they were such a cool band! they could play any style and make it great - hard rock, punk, grunge, softer stuff, anything!
The old man that never gave me a tip on my paper rout when I was 11.
I can't remember how i heard this, but I've known about it for years, and this was when i was completely unaware of the complete plethora of unreleased Nirvana songs, so I was just convinced that this was a widely known song.
Anyways its been my favourite nirvana song for years now.
great song
superb
Oh yeah! :)
Don't worry this internet thing will never last....
oh yeah absolutely. that's for sure.
What a f*cking epic song.
Nirvana rules.
YES!
i dig the lyrics!
@fullclip16117 EXCELLENT post.. you hit the nail on the head.. although to be fair, pearl jam did experiment a little with Vitalogy. but then again most big rock bands back then had at least 1 experimental album or two. (REM - Monster, U2 - Zooropa)
I think this would make great background music for when you´re using a flamethrower... Man, I wish I had one!
I want a rocket launcher!
U can on battlefield 1
Nah... You can´t burn down stuff with a rocket launcher or a video game... BTW it seems that i´m the only one who liked my comment... "Thanks guys!"
You can blow a lot of stuff up, though, which results in fire.
Well, I guess... like "in the long run"...
Asses have been kicked listening to this.
I think curmudgeoning just became a new verb in my book
awesome
I think Curmudgeon and Endless Nameless are Kurts best impression of Melvins.
Two of my most fav Nirvana songs.
Wow dude you're so cool
