- Chicago has some amazing food places and started this food day with a trip to an iconic buffet that serves up delicious Southern comfort food. I had a burger that is by far the best burger I've had in the U.S. and tried some Filipino tacos for the first time ever.

When I was growing up in the south, we didn't call it soul food. We just called it food. It was always delicious and wonderful. My grandmother had 10 kids. She pretty much, cooked from sunup to sundown. I learned to cook from her and my mother.

There used to be a place like this in/near Atlanta that was great!
I would arrive at where I was unloading during the night & catch some sleep.
They would wake me up & I would start to unload garments.
It sucked, but I was a lot younger & didn't realize it.😉😆

I haven't had a good pork chop in so long. My favorite fried chicken place closed in 2019. Quite a few of my favorite places have closed over the past 5 years or so. 4 of them because the owners retired. One do to fire. It is sad, but I understand.

Well, Pearl's certainly hits the spot. The burger was a killer! It's hard to believe that you could've eaten the Filipino heavy street food after your burger ++ stop!

Wow that burger at the end I ordered my first ever taco from a food truck or something on Uber and I got it and it was cubes of chicken swimming in ranch! I had to throw it out ffs! That! That is a taco! I mean I assume because it looked like how I thought it would.

Hey Mike! If you are still in the Dallas area, have you tried Sushi Sake in Richardson? You have reviewed some cool spots in the DFW area, but have not seen this one show up on your list.
You want REAL southern food, go to Dooky Chase's in New Orleans, Louisiana. Nowhere better. The former owner and chef, Leah Chase, was the inspiration for Tiana in Disney's The Princess & The Frog.

When he eats asian food he talks about how Asians cook this or that it’s Asian owned white about Jewish/Black/Hispanic/Mexican owned and how they love hot oil etc in detail but her never mentions other races food or their style of cooking or history behind it.
It’s cause he doesn’t actually know. He also thinks he can speak on other/all asian cultures but is sometimes wrong. He would get a larger audience if he had the owner or chef talk abt their background or just by doing research

Ever watched Brennen Taylor he looks up everything and talks about the history before and sometimes during eating the food I been watching Mike since i was a minor, he can definitely change it up talk about the reviews and etc. Tho its his video and i’m not telling him what to do just saying what would make it different

First off, that Soul Food had me drooling and I have a meat allergy and probably couldn't eat hardly any of it, but man that look so delicious. Wow. Secondly, I was watching it at 3 am and that is not the time to watch and start craving food you cannot have.

We need some Filipino restaurants in Fort Smith Arkansas. We have some that try to pass themselves off as such. But that's like calling taco bell Mexican. Oh and we need Red Horse beer too.
