also i just noticed that i forgot to mention the removal of hook grabs and that i got the patch in which bt was added wrong, it should be 1.4.2 instead of 4.2.0

I do miss the unique individual hooks for each killer but I can see why that changed. The slower animations made sense when DbD was first released because the entire game was originally intended to be a much more slow, tension filled game of hide and seek. It was much darker and the concept of looping wasn’t a thing and it’s why people had a crouch around the map mentality for so long
True, DBD was made as a simple cat and mouse game, and looping wasn't really an intended mechanic, it was more or less created by the community as the game became less and less focused on horror and scary moments
@@sashko8448it was bound to happen at some point, i guess. Once you reach a certain amount of experience/hours, the horror aspect goes away. The community kind of needed to create looping as a way to keep the interest high.
Dang, hangman's trick made hooks respawn after 10 seconds? That's actually a usable perk.

The other day I was called a camper and tunneled cuz I was using save the best for last, so I was trying to avoid hurting my obsession for thr most part, and at least one of the survivors was always sticking around to try to get a really quick unhook (sometimes there was 2) so I was given very little incentive to just walk away since both of them were trying to dance by 2 adjacent loops. I was neglectant to commiting cuz i didnt hsve my stacks yet, and both survivors where trying to bait me into really strong loops, so it was a game of both sides trying to bait eachother until one of them screwed up.
The obsession in poticulsr said I was "too scared" to chase them and when I said "it's called save the best for last." He just called me bad.
Funniest match I've ever had, but it does make me qonder how the anti-camp mechanic is gonna work in scenarios like that where survivors are practically harassing the hook but trying to do it in such a way no one's given a hit.

@@lesexypiglet___8599 the psrt of the video talkibg abiut how the devs want to adress camping, and how i was claimed to be "camping and tunneling" cuz of their idiocy and i guess lack of knowledge how Best for Last works, n the concern i expressed in my comment hoping that they take care with those changes in the future cuz this is an example where it cane down to thr survivors beibg their own worst enemy there.
I think the meter will go slower/not fill up at all if one or multiple survivors are swarming the hook, that's at least how I understood it from watching the anniversary live stream

Funny thing is that DBD loading tips exposes the killer you are playing against when loading in the game……
I think that's only for the first couple of times you play against that killer
It only seldom happens, most of the time tips don't reveal the killer.

Don't see why they can't just slow stage progression as an anti camping system. Simpler, less open to exploitation. A hook is meant to be a power position, not a liability.
That's an interesting suggestion, although I think one flaw with this design is that it's kinda boring for the hooked survivor, since they're just staying on the hook and not doing anything
@sashko8448 camping isn't engaging for anyone, but this acts as a deterrent the same way Reassurance does. Rather than a convoluted seeming system that takes a paragraph and which I can definitely see survivors exploiting. This way you can still defend a hook from overzealous unhook farmers if necessary.

@@goaway5297 No this would be the worse thing for them to do. The sad reality is camping sometimes NEEDS to happen. Sometimes u need to match the pace of the survs. Not only that, but what does one do when people purposely circle the hook? People sometimes call something camping, but they are literally looping the hook...
@@godfrey4461 My opinion is that people who hard commit to camping, tunneling, slugging or 3 genning are setting themselves up for failure. But, these are as you say effective strategies to punish survivor misplays. I don't agree with anticamp changes at all, as the game is 1 v 4, and it seems they want to make it 1 v 1+1+1+1 if you catch my meaning. People bring a selfish mindset into solo queue and wonder why they lose. It is not something to balance around. I was simply saying that if they insisted on it, I'd rather just basekit reassurance.

Basekit BT was a mistake, survivors already abuse it plenty. I really hope the "anti-camping" feature isn't implimented. The "anti-camping" measures built into the powers is already bad enough and makes using your power paunfully annoying.
