Can't agree more with what's said here about this amazing little guitar. I got one for busking as well as I can't stand with a heavy acoustic for more than 20mins these days and this is super-light. The first thing I noticed about it was the resonance and tone was amazing for jazz stye playing which got me trying to remember all those old AbMaj13b9#5 chords and runs - Enjoy all who buy..!!
I just got mine about a month ago and I agree with pretty much everything you said about it plus it’s probably the best kept secret in the acoustic guitar community. Mainly because it’s such a high quality and great sounding instrument for such a cheap price that it would destroy the sales of much more expensive acoustics if everyone was wise to it.
I have one of these and the neck is definitely thinner than a full size guitar neck. I have various acoustics and this thing is dinky, light, thin neck. I have small girlie hands too. Worth the money...although I do need to get round to changing the tuners; as they are a bit dopey tbh.
Thank you, I found your video really informative. So is the neck a bit wider? Petite woman with shorter fingers :) And what strings would you recommend?
The neck is narrower than a traditional full size acoustic guitar, more like an electric. It comes with Yamaha Folk Guitar Strings, Light Gauge 80/20 Brass, 12-53. I have been using the Ernie Ball Aluminum Bronze Medium Light, 12-54 strings for the last 3 plus years and am happy with them.
Hi Robert, I bought this guitar for my son and he loves it! Where would I get a strap like yours? Also, it is a pretty small travel guitar, did you find a case for it? Do you have an email, I could leave you a message?
The SKB Cases models 1SKB-300 Hard case or 1SKB-SC300 Soft Case will work for APXT2. I bought my APXT2 plus the SKB Soft Case in November of 2016 and the guitar has lived happily in that case since. I went for the soft case as the guitar is meant to be a travel guitar and the soft case has shoulder straps on it , giving you options as to carrying it.
I'm looking for a 3/4 steel-string, and every single review on RUclips is a cursory examination and some mellow chord changes in the lower register. Fuck the timbre. Playable comes first. How's the action? Will I have to fight the strings at the 12th fret? Some of us like to let loose once in a while.
@@paulvalles3243 Why are new acoustic guitars set up like the player needs a slide? That's the question. If you know a make/model that's fully adjustable, point. Nut and bridge. I'll figure it out. I shouldn't have to play with a truss rod.
Nice mini review, I totally agree with you! I play mine inside a car sometimes!

Thank for your comment really help a lot
Bit of an exaggeration. It's good for what it is, but is at no risk of 'destroying the sales' of more expensive guitars.
Hello, thank you for the demo! Do you use this guitar for busking or some other guitar? Many thanks
Thank you sir, for a decent review of this guitar.
Informative & impartial review, think it has persuaded me to invest, thanks.
How does the finger board compare in size to a larger guitar, for example a standard dreadnought, or a smaller parlor?
Hi Robert. I found you. Mike from Makers Space.
Great video thanks. I am considering buying an APXT2 for travelling and just wondering if you could please tell me how much it weighs?
I found out it weighs 3.2 lb
Lovely shed. Nice review.
Baseball bat/cricket bat/boat oar sized neck it seems to me. :( I can't play thick necks so when they get thicker than 21mm it hurts too much.

I actually picked one up this weekend! what kind of amp do you use it with?
nevermind! didn't watch to the end!

I cant get my little hands around the neck and its very slippery
Very nice .. I want that too

Can you plug headphones in the guitar?
Hello can I know how do I use the output jack, can it be connected to an amplifier?
I cant get my little hands around the neck 😢
Did it come fitted with the strap buttons?
Unplugged?
Is it Steel Strings?
What string gauge?
