fantastic job sir, everyone loves the 3.5 and 3.9 V8s but they were never enough for these cars.

@@billsinclair6515 thanks. Still lots to be done to get it the way I want it. I dont want people to know it’s not a rover v8 until i leave them behind in the dust.

Oh yes no proplem i had my 3.5 rebuild by JRV8 to high comp and giving about 250 hp. Pulls like a train so no need for another V-8.

@@Coordinator61 yah it may pull very well indeed. But there’s just something about displacement that makes it just very different. I can drive around in 5th gear pretty much everywhere and not be bothered to change gears. And unless your 3.5 is supercharged or turbocharged I bet it doesn’t pull down low. My original 3.5 had a nice kent cam installed with ported 4.6 heads, high compression and a bigger carb. So it was already upgraded.

@@pfcvdv it does pull down low indeed a lot. A big chevy is not that powerfull. Lazy engines but nothing special. I can dri e around in 4 th too no issue. Still great rebuild but too much hassle for me.
