- Every Camera is Epic from the A7s3, Fx3, Fuji film even Nikon makes cameras I heard. But a lot of people like trashing on cameras, so I thought I would have some fun and share some thoughts about Sony and the Canon R5c. I think this camera is pretty crazy shooting 8K 60fps and in 12bit Raw. Not to Mention it has a Canon R5 attached to a great Video camera. I think this may just be the first TRUE Hybrid Camera. This was DOPE! Thank you so much for ripping the band aid right off and calling people out in such a funny, good-natured way. I‘ve been waiting since I got my R’s (have 2 of them actually) to upgrade. Skipped the R5 and R6 because of the recording limits, overheating and (drumroll) the IBIS wobble 😂. Gonna sell one of my R‘s and preorder the R5C, and btw…Matti already teased that he has no problem switching back “and fast”. He’s so doing it! Anyway this was fun - instant sub👍🏾

That was pretty hilarious. People are just looking for something to complain about at this point. It's a beast of a camera. I currently shoot on the R5 and love it, but I probably won't be going through the hassle of upgrading to this. The C70, I've got my eyes on that beast. Would love to see you do a video on it if you haven't!

The c70 still has the DGO sensor (I did a whole section on it but removed it from the edit) it’s a top tier camera for sure! Now with RAW too. I heard someone say that the c70 is still the better video devoted camera but if you don’t have the R5 and shoot any video what do ever it makes sense to start at the R5C first, then build up from there.
Haven’t done a video but filmed on it a lot! I really do need to make a video about it.

You’re funny 😆 I’ve always been with Canon. Did consider Sony, but was already heavily invested with Canon lenses. Pre-order the R5 and never looked back. Absolutely love it and new right away that DSLR days were numbered. Traded all my EF glass for RF.

I'm a Sony user. Was waiting for A7Siv and was very underwhelmed when is came out. All I want is a mirrorless that can do atleast 6k 24p. I'm super excited about the new Canon R5-C!
Oh that’s some real talk, I’m rather surprised about the amount of cameras skipping 6K and going to 8K. I think it’s because it’s going up in double resolution potentially. I also think the a7s3 did well because the R5 overheated 😂. I do like the r5c is different enough to the R5 and it isn’t just the same camera with a fan.

The R5 IBIS does not suck.
What sucks is that Canon does not let us disable it during wide angle video without disabling lens stabilization.
I urge everyone to make a request to Canon to give our cameras that ability.
Other than that, the IBIS in the R3, R5, and R6 is amazing.
Okay fair point, I do agree the limiting control of all or nothing is anoeying, but I think in the wider setting for more video only was not that great results. 35mm upwards was not bad at all but the digital IS seems to be matching the results rather closely making the fuse about it not super worth it. Disclaimer: I haven’t used the camera but I have used the c70 digital is which I believe is the same, it wasn’t that bad at all in comparison to my R6z

The Panasonic S1H was also a true hybrid but they autofocus issue - one single issue - one single wrong choice - contrast vs dual pixel autofocus destroyed the sale of that beautiful camera.
But 8K raw 60fps internal - my goodness - make way for the king.
It was the wrong Time as Sony and canon were really pushing auto focus and everyone was starting to trust it way more. Was a weapon though for sure! Very underrated
Haha bro too good 🤣 I loved this intro, there is always a flood of justification videos online the moment there's rumours, leaks or specs release. I've given up on following the hype on annoucements these days, I'd rather get something in my hands or wait for a decent review.

I spent 30 mins explaining to this guy on RUclips that how can you call the A7S3 a hybrid camera. I told him the eosR was better and he said I was trolling a hybrid shooter I would not accept the A7S3 even if it was a present. What on earth am I going to do with 12MP.
I did some research and I think Sony hybrid cameras are a7r3, r4 and A1.
🤣 haha I think if you do event videography it’s a good camera, but hybrid no.

@@JoshHodgman I actually left a comment that made him know I was not at all Happy. The beginning of the video looked like an unboxing and then He was holding this camera all through the video.
So I said Thats an R5 in your hand isn’t it. You just wasted my time.
Interesting - in his response he was talking like it was a joke - but I want laughing.
I don’t want someone to attempt to deceive me in the name of comedy.
Anyway but your content was funny and you were pretty much trying to convince yourself but you also showed excellent knowledge of the pros and cons compared to other cameras.
For example this other guy was talking about hybrid shooting and said He was planning to keep my A7S3 - I said to him you can’t be serious - I will choose a Eos r over the A7S3 anyday. He said I was trolling. 😀😀😂😂😂
