About All In The Family:
One of the most acclaimed comedy series of all time, All in the Family with Archie Bunker as the irascible, highly opinionated, working-class family man who viewed the world on his terms and his terms only. When not arguing with his liberal son-in-law, "Meathead," Archie took refuge in his long-suffering wife, Edith, who tries her best to understand Archie's conservative ways and outdated beliefs.

Burt Mustin was a great character actor!
Yes he was!
i know loved him
Wow! What a wonderful man! I wish I could be like that at my younger age😅
Edith was so sweet!
It was weird seeing someone that was old enough to call Archie sonny lol
Glad to know ya there pops 😂
The elderly actor was a regular on the Andy Griffith show..
Ol Judd
Rest in peace and birthday wishes to Burt Mustin. 2 8 The casting of this proficient character actor always worked. He was placed in the right place to perform the correct line he was the best choice to allow to relate
Edith makes a long story longer lol makes it funny
I love seeing Burt in other shows. I knew him from Andy Griffith Show and loved his character.
I remembered him from an episode of The Monkees
I liked his cymbal playing with the Hooterville Volunteer Fire Dept Band
I remember him from the kick the can episode of the "Twilight Zone".
AND the Brady Bunch!
The adorable burt mustin, was an asset to every episode he played. I enjoyed his singing as much as his acting he danced in this show
I first remember him on several episodes of the Andy Griffith show he was always a likable character and I remember in one episode we got to hear him sing in the Mayberry barber shop quartet.
@@johnharris3362 I remember in the episode where Archie finally pays off the house, Quigley is singing barbershop style with Archie at the party where Archie burns up the deed to the house.
I don’t blame him for taking any roles in the nonsense they make today. hopefully he enjoys his retirement
@@davidjames666 yes I agree he deserves his rest
@@davidjames666 I think the guy has been dead for 40 years
Great 📺 ! Great comedy!
Love this episode !❤😂😂
Edith is such a sweet dingbat
Precious episode❤😊
Don’t miss the point. No one knows how long they’ll live. Imagine! It can happen to anyone, even you.
I just love this show
My favorite episode of his was Dragnet, where he played the
detective from Chicago. He schooled Gannon and Friday
making them look like amateur Keystone Cops. What
is this Friday, Martini hour? lol!
the elderly guy was on the Jesse James ep of The Brady Bunch
Burt Mustin. Dozens of character parts on TV and film. His last major TV role was in 1977 on the Phyllis show.
He must be a 100 years old I saw him on Leave it to Beaver looking old back then
He was born in 1884.
If I remember right he didn't even start acting until he was in his sixties which use to sound old to me until last year.
@@johnharris3362 . Haha.
Gus the fireman
old man Quigley. and he was leave it to Beaver old buddy. and, he was on some old episodes of the Andy Griffith Show.
Burt Mustin
@@tj.espygil4544 thank you. I never knew is REAL NAME.
And Sanford and son
Burt's final TV role was on the TV show "Phyllis". He played a character who married Phyllis' mother-in-law's mother-in-law ( yes, weird but true) Mother Dexter, who was played by Judith Lowery, around the fall of 1976. But his part was cut short. Within weeks of airing the episodes, Judith Lowery dropped dead of a heart attack over Thanksgiving vacation and then in early 1977 Burt Mustin passed away. It was really too bad because these two actors both were a big part of the show. I know this because I am super old and self isolate because there's a Covid thing going on. But I am vaccinated. So I watch TV a lot because I really like to watch TV a lot. So I know a lot about TV stuff and lots of other things too.
Isn't he the 1 in the episode where he was getting married at the house and was scared. Archie wanted to go fishing and was trying to get him out 🤣
I thought so too but no...the guy that wanted to go fishing with Archie instead of get married was named Herbert Hooper, played by Ian Wolfe.
@@pisto30 Oh ok, thought it was this man, that episode was so funny 😂
He got married to mother Dexter in Phyllis.
He made an appearance on The Tonight Show in the 70's.
It was the kick the can episode, which premiered in the 1960s. It was off the air by the 1970s.
He was in many Dragnet episodes
Jesse James killed my father
You know the legends I know the facts.

Jos and Toady 😀TV
The old guy sure reminds me of Joe Biden
I'd trust the old guy over Biden.
