Excellent video. I deeply appreciate you sharing the lesser-known aspects of cataract surgery, which are not usually explained by optometrists in my country. I underwent cataract surgery approximately two months ago and have experienced some of the symptoms you mention. Despite consulting with my ophthalmologist, I have not received a clear response, either due to lack of knowledge or, as you mention, because they are “secrets.” After watching your video, I feel much more at ease knowing that these symptoms can be temporary. I wish you much success in your professional career.
got retinal detachment (with macula) 2 months after surgery.. been superdepressed as after cataract surgery I had the best vision of my life, and now the worst of my life in one eye. Hoping that stemcellinjection will help me in the future.
I experienced retinal detachment in my right eye. It was promptly repaired but it took nearly eight months to fully heal. I now have 20/25 vision in my right eye but that is due to a bit of astigmatism and it doesn't bother me. My left eye is 20/20 but the biggest plus for me is that I don't need glasses even though I opted for the standard replacement lens. I can see close up enough to read type size of 6 points. The Doctor had never had a patient with such good results. In your case, give it some time and you may have a good result.
What happens if you’re youngish (ie your eyes still accommodate) and you have unilateral cataracts surgery so now you have a single an artificial lens that cannot accommodate and one that can, how does that affect your ability to read small texts? How would your eyes/brain adjust?
Do you or anyone you know had cataract surgery, and how was your experience? Please let me know in the comments below 👇

Although not often, PCO can occur during the early post operative period.
