Yes, just like cars and anything else that is financed.
Sheds are typically on rent-to-own terms and if they fail to make their rental payments we pick them up.
My wish is not for anyone to get anything repossessed but rather for everyone to make great decisions and prosper.
I understand people fall on hard times and that sucks but it all comes down to responsibly, if you can't pay you can always voluntarily return it.

That was great. My wife put the video on. I had not seen your videos before. Anyway, I was very impressed with your remote fork lift, how quickly you hooked it up and removed the shed. And the way you handled the wife and husband was very professional and calm. Very impressed. I didn't even know that shed repossession was a thing.

Guy can't find time in 4 months to clean out the shed, but can take time to rush home and act like a tough guy. Now instead of just moving the stuff from the shed to his own house he will have to take 5 trips to the repo yard to get his junk back. What a slip-clutch.

If that 12x24 sold for $6500 new, the smaller one probably sold for no more than $4000 new. If you can't pay cash for most of it and finance the small balance then they shouldn't have purchased it.

Yes you are spot on as even from a small town people are crazy ! I was assaulted first then ran into with their car after scolding someone for keeping their dog in a hot car ! They were charged with assault with a deadly weapon and we are still waiting for a court date way over 16 months now , even after it was witnessed by the cops arriving on the scene ! I am a senior and just feeling better as it has taken this long for my injuries to heal . Cops say the courts are way backed up because of so many cases like this as people are going crazy ,especially since Covid came around. It makes it hard to be a hero anymore . Josh should get danger pay especially after repeat attempts .

Phew. A close one for sure. Glad it all worked out for you and you got it clean. It definitely isn't worth violence on his end for a repo. There definitely are better ways to handle things. This just shows how professional and proficient you are at your job. That definitely had my adrenaline pumping and took me back to some of the car repos back in the day where debtors came at us like that. Good job defusing the situation.

That homeowner didn't make his payments and he had plenty of chances to clean it out or make up payments, so he lost out. Glad you got it and stood your ground.
One of the rules I learned from repo and watching repo videos don't stop working you keep moving the vehicles or doing something even if you walk away still have something being done because the sooner you can get off the property the less rights they have
Also yes when you're at the lot with a guy like that you want to park it to where he can't get the doors open at all or damage the shed that way he has to have somebody there to help him get his stuff out if he comes and gets his stuff out
I don't believe the defaulter's rights are affected at all, but yes indeed, snatch and go is best for all concerned in cases like this one.

I did some repo’s in Detroit for a couple years. We used to carry NEXTEL phones for a time line reference. I had a debtor follow me and try to stop me while I had their automobile on my hook. I chirped the owner/boss of my company. He told me to hit them and keep going. Well, that is exactly what happened. A oldsmobile achieva cannot stop a F350 with a solid steel chrome bumper. Lol, good times back then
a family member of mine works in car repos. I'm sure the guy saw the Go Pro and cams on his truck and body, and same with the repo co. my relatives works on. This is for legal reasons. (and also to sue / press charges in case the situation escalates). Even hitting the mirror (which this idiot did) is liable. Josh just wont waste time on a small issue.

@@iamgriff Yes. That's why dash cams work for you, and against you. My sister was in accident 2017 and the other driver (at fault) blabbed himself to jail by blaming her. My sister never said anything during this ordeal until she showed the dash cam footage. The other guy perjured himself to the police which is a no-no.
@@luigivincenz3843 When I repossessed automobiles, dash cams weren’t a thing. Camera phones hadn’t been invented yet, mass surveillance wasn’t around.
Back then, you actually had to stick up for yourself, you couldn’t hold a cell phone for protection.

I’m not even sure why I enjoy watching these videos but I sure enjoy them. Might be your amazing skills with your equipment. Possibly the drama or anticipation of possible drama. Why can't people understand ,when you sign a contract ,a legally binding contract , that you waive your rights to saying they can't come on your property , it's a rental until paid for , you've already given them explicit rights to come get it, if you don't pay 🙄🤦🏻♂️

I am incredibly impressed with the machinery to move this shed. I am a retired woman who only did desk jobs and I enjoy watching heavy equipment in action. From this to forest mulching machines. I am fascinated with all of it.
This is an oldie, but a goodie. I love the jobs where you have to hurry before the homeowner gets you. You are just so good at this that you get into this flow and everything just moves smoothly. It’s beautiful to see.
