My husband had a brain injury from a fall off a ladder onto cement. His doctor said it was just a concussion and to come back in a month. When he went back I insisted that he get a brain scan. That was scheduled out for a week. Before that week was up my husband lost feelings in his legs so I took him to emergency where they did a brain scan which showed he had a subdural hematoma and had three brain surgeries because they kept finding more hematomas. He later got Dementia from that. Please make sure that he has brain scans for the next few months because sometimes the bleeds are small and does not show up for a month or so.

There are many towns along the Ohio River that look like this. When the manufacturing of all of the little things Americans used (and subcomponents of bigger things) went overseas, towns went downhill. (Stuff made in the US went to Japan 70s, Korea 80s, Mexico 90s, China 00-10s, etc)

Plus if you took it to a dealer... never do that. Timing chains hardly have issues in a well maintained Audi. Change the oil with liquimoly every 5k miles or 6 months whichever comes sooner. Don't buy a luxury sports vehicle and you wont have high expenses. Like anything else in life, if you take care of it, it will last a long long time. if you let it go, it will drop like a sack of potatoes.
@MasterBasser this was years ago, when I was a widowed dad of two young/active kids, and who worked full time. I had an independent shop do the work that I didn't have the time to do. A dealer would have charged twice that amount, which is unreasonable and ridiculous for a newer "high quality" German car. I've since switched to Lexus and Mazda and have none of these issues.

I used to be a shed hauler maybe 12 or 13 years ago. Used to pick up in Seminole Texas from Alamogordo NM. 200 miles one way. Me and a friend of mine drove our rigs together. It was pretty fun except for javing to move buildings around the lot.

My husband had a brain injury from a fall off a ladder onto cement. His doctor said it was just a concussion and to come back in a month. When he went back I insisted that he get a brain scan. That was scheduled out for a week. Before that week was up my husband lost feelings in his legs so I took him to emergency where they did a brain scan which showed he had a subdural hematoma and had three brain surgeries because they kept finding more hematomas. He later got Dementia from that. Please make sure that he has brain scans for the next few months because sometimes the bleeds are small and does not show up for a month or so.

Plus if you took it to a dealer... never do that. Timing chains hardly have issues in a well maintained Audi. Change the oil with liquimoly every 5k miles or 6 months whichever comes sooner. Don't buy a luxury sports vehicle and you wont have high expenses. Like anything else in life, if you take care of it, it will last a long long time. if you let it go, it will drop like a sack of potatoes.
@MasterBasser this was years ago, when I was a widowed dad of two young/active kids, and who worked full time. I had an independent shop do the work that I didn't have the time to do. A dealer would have charged twice that amount, which is unreasonable and ridiculous for a newer "high quality" German car. I've since switched to Lexus and Mazda and have none of these issues.

Also , the most popular grocery chain , CARRS , was sold to Safeway and is know known as CARRS Safeway and prices went up . Know the state of Alaska is fighting the merger of Safeway and Kroger/Fred Meyer which are the two competitors that isn't Walmart .

I used to be a shed hauler maybe 12 or 13 years ago. Used to pick up in Seminole Texas from Alamogordo NM. 200 miles one way. Me and a friend of mine drove our rigs together. It was pretty fun except for javing to move buildings around the lot.
