The only real reason I got into it was a preset video for an older version of the shaders. I think that one actually had better options, but the new version has compatibility with Distant Horizons.
very nice, these are definitely some beautiful setting that make it overall look/feel better :3 looks equally good with the reimagined settings (for clouds, water & stuff)
Thanks for the explainer! I didn't follow exactly as I wanted water to be a little different personally, but I greatly appreciate knowing how to change stuff and what it does thank to you! The only improvement that would be good is if you could include timestamps for if we want to come back to a section.
Hii, nice video, but I'm having a Issue with the Sun, when the Sun is the Sun of Minecraft and in -40 Angle, the Sun get glitched, and it's half finished at sunset. I wanted to know a way to fix this, I use Iris to play with the Shader.
Hello do you know where i can turn on the mob flashing red on hit. It's turned off and i can't seem to find the setting. Thanks for the settings it's really nice.
Is there a way to turn down the thick hazy white band that is all over the horizon during day and night. When you look directly up the sky is a bright blue but all over the horizon it's a blinding white light.
Check your fog settings? Otherwise, I am not sure. I don’t seem to suffer from the variety of problems that players ask about. So, I don’t really know how to fix any of them.
for me even with most of your settings on the sun has a crazy glare that blinds almost my entire view except for 30 blocks closest to camera, do you have an idea what it could be? feels like i tried almost everything
Dude i have issue in that everything looks fine but when i try to put boat in water i can see underwater through the boat ...i have no idea how to fix that...do u have any solution?
Is it a clipping issue with your water settings and the boat? I usually use an odd mix of reimagined and unbound. I like the vanilla-like water setting so it’s essentially flat. Otherwise, I am not sure how you would fix that. Probably have to get in touch with the Dev
@MrThaylar thnx for reply that tho i alrdy fix it ...there was an problem with some mod i add it before i make n new file n remove that crashed mod ...thnx anyway 🌹
bro its even more better if you provide the config txt file in the shaderpack folder, it contains all the modifaction done and just by copy pasting it the same changes can be imported quickly
That requires me to set up someplace for you to download it and me to update and maintain it. You can do the same thing for yourself after learning how to adjust the settings. Plus, it has the added benefit of being forward compatible. The settings saved as a txt file, I think, are unique to the version of the shaders. At least, I never tried loading the prior version settings so I couldn’t say what would happen.
Mostly also done like this so you stay for the whole video instead of just snatching the configs and leaving giving him a better video retention so his videos don't flop. It might look egoistical but It's probably thanks to this that you found the video in the first place since youtube put it in front of you because it has good retention.
That could be a possibility. I always assume there are always a lot of compatibility things going on between Minecraft, the shaders mod, and the shader pack.
Just got a 4090 and I can 100% tell you that the only reason these shaders look good is because of that 4090, obviously other things play a huge role, but yeah.
I'm not sure. Despite being around for a long time, Shaders still seem to have many buggy issues depending on the state of the mods installed and your device drivers. You could try disabling the clouds or just go through and tweak all the settings to see if it changes something. Or try older versions of the shaders to see if that fixes your problem. Though, if you're using Distant Horizons, older versions of Complementary don't support it. Few shaders do support DH.
Thank you so much dude! I don't have DH but i installed an older version of the shaders and the clouds and sky are back to normal! ( when i had the issue the sky was also black ).😁👍
@@IakovosLOUlakous I actually like one of the older versions of Complementary better, but Distant Horizons is too good because I can play at the default 12 loaded chunks and then DH adds in the rest so that it isn't playing in a miniature world. Helps keep the shaders running at something playable until all the added lights, villagers, machines, or whatever get too demanding.
I couldn't begin to help with that. There are some mod incompatibilities listed on their website, and officially Oculus isn't supported. Though, that's what I'm using and it's always seemed to work fine.

Crazy that for a such popular shaderpack there's absolutely no one sharing their presets online.
That helped a ton, thanks!

Bro how can i make ores glow on bsl shaders?
All I can say is look for a glowing ores option in the BSL Shaders options. I don’t use it so I can’t say whether or not it even does glowing ores.
Do you use a mod for these sounds?
I do use Ambient Sounds. Nearly a must have because it adds a lot of ambiance to your biomes
