I've heard dozens of versions of this piece. Usually after a few bars, I turn them off. Not this one. This is effortless and fluid, perfect dynamics and phrasing.
This is a very popular piece with both students and pros. The current trend has been to play it as fast as possible. I am glad she takes a different approach. The way she plays it shows much maturity. The USC guitar department must be proud to have her as a student.
@@johnstrozzi1126 Literally came here after watching a girl playing it like she had to catch the last train. It's off putting when people do that and then get told it's such a "brilliant interpretation". It's just awful, it ruins the piece. Oh you're so quick, incredible. Now, where's the musicality?
Плавность звучания предают этой гитаристке особый шарм. Хорошо держит темп, мягко и нежно играет. Это пожалуй лучшее выступление данного произведенияесли сравнивать многих игроков. Браво, браво и еще раз браво.
I have heard so many recordings of this, have been playing it myself for several years, and I saw John Williams perform it live, and this is perhaps my favorite interpretation and recording. Well done, Francesca!
I agree with everyone - a truly *musical* rendition of this masterpiece. Takes me back ten years to when I would enjoy listening to the great violinists doing similarly wonderful work with it. Brava, Francesca Boerio!
I don't think, "yep, Bach belongs on a cedar top," but I am very much hearing that here. It sounds so good! Thanks to Francesca -- and to luthier Florian and Guitar Salon. Basses and trebles have incredible balance. Between this guitar and the Smallman in a recent video, I'm being pulled over to the cedar side. I'll have to go back to Francesca's other videos because this one is so good.
Good points, played beautifully not an easy piece, prerequisite for competition and Conservatoriums , awaiting your gavotte from the same suite. Well done again beautiful guitar too I wish😀
This is not an easy piece. WOW! Great! I really like that the octaves are in tune. Nearly impossible, but YOU got them! And you change positions like it is effortless, but we all know it is not. Just Wonderful.
One of the most beautiful renditions I have ever heard of this magistral piece! In particular, the ornamentation around ~ 4:11 sounds absolutely great! What a talented musician!
BRAVO !!!
Simply smooth and have a taste of musical flow of Bach's style, for me I am fond of Bach's guitar pieces very very much. The performance can richly play all the notes in very clean and clear yet firm fashion, giving the audience no stress as this piece is "much painful to watch and play". Thanks for sharing~~
there are two new attempts for 'the best rendition' of this piece - please check stefanie jones and david russels contributions and let us know your rating of those...

She plays it like a girl, girls tend to not feel the need to play blazingly fast.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Musik und an die Gitarristin.

Goran Sollscher, Mateusz Kowlaski, and many more. Lutenist Mario D'Agosto is "it"
This is a Bach's month? 🤔 Interesting
6 people misclicked on the dislike cuz they too shock from the stunning performance and their hands too shaky 😂
