Albeniz is a wonderful composer who brings out the the true beauty , sadness and passion of Spain and Ana Vidovic, who has similar qualities does him proud. She is the prefect musician for this music.
Not only is the music heaven sent and beautiful beyond words, but these young and dedicated musicians are most impressive. There is such a sweet spirit that each of them emulates that brings each selection straight to the heart and soul.
Did you know? Issac Albeniz never actually composed for guitar, only piano, yet he always had the feel of a classical guitar in his mind. Then guitarists like Segovia actually transcribed the pieces for guitar and became very well known, even more than the original versions. Keep up the good work, excellent playing!! Asturias is very difficult, technically and musically, but the guitarist here really brings out the piece in a really unique way. Great job!
For guitar, Leyenda/Asturias is a bit of a party piece, because it seems much more difficult than it actually is. There are much tougher pieces in this video

I've learned a few Albeniz pieces on the piano, but honestly, I think they sound much nicer when arranged for guitar.
