"I don't think we've met with him" I've been meaning to go back and see who we've met with in previous years, cos I feel like the rate of guys we meet with that we end up drafting is really low!

I'm not even sure we brought in Anton Harrison for a visit, I know he wasn't on my radar as a potential pick. I only took him in like one mock draft and that was because he fell to #42 which was where I traded down to for a 2024 1st.

@@cardiacatsbrandLast year I was shocked we picked Harrison. I was literally screaming at the t.v. for us to take him, but the team never drafts who I want them to take in round 1, other than Tony Boselli, John Henderson, Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence and Anton Harrison. Harrison was my #2 OT behind Broderick Jones.

I liked Harrison a lot but didn’t have him higher than where we took him. One guy I really wanted was Devin Lloyd, I got very lucky with that one.

The Walker Little and Cam Robinson talk is making me think cutting/trading one of them and drafting Fautanu at 17 (if he’s there) might be the optimal pick

Fautanu would be a nice pick, he's another player I'm gonna reevaluate before the draft. I think the Jets should take him personally, he could play anywhere and do it at a high level, but I probably should've thrown him into this video as a fit honestly.

@@cardiacatsbrand I absolutely agree that the Jets should draft him. I’m super high on Fautanu. He’s one of my favorite prospects in this draft. And yeah I just love his ability to play guard and tackle and the attitude he brings. He’s probably a better guard than Cleveland already too

I think part of the reason I've had a hard time with him is honestly just because he went from being a third-round pick to an early first-round selection. That means nothing bad about him as a player, it's just that the move up the board was massive. He's slowly risen for me over the draft cycle.

I'm definitely not a fan of Roger Rosegarten. When I see him, all I see is the National Championship game where he was consistently beaten like a drum by the Wolverine defenders. It was really bad. I was having flashbacks to Ephraim Salaam getting destroyed when he played for the Jaguars. Yes, I'm that old. I know you like Devontez Walker, but I just don't think you're going to sell Jaguars fans on this guy. Like Rosengarten, he fell flat on his face during one of the biggest moments of his playing career and unlike Rosengarten, it wasn't just for one game. It was an entire week that he struggled and we haven't seen him since, so that was a lasting impression I don't care how athletic he is, he can't catch. When I see Walker, I see Denzel Mims. I really like Christian Jones. He may not be a pro bowler, but I think he could be a consistent NFL OT, as long as you keep him on the right side. He plays much better on the right side, than he does the left. I know people in Florida love Ricky Pearsall and I don't dislike the guy, I actually like him, just not for the Jaguars. IMO, I believe he is a slot receiver only and we are good there with Christian Kirk. I just don't think he is a good fit. To me, he is a Calvin Ridley type and Ridley was not a good fit in our offense. Personally, I believe Luke McCaffrey is the same type of receiver as Pearsall, only better and he could be had much later in the draft. Love me some Renardo Green. I probably like him and Khyree Jackson more than any other football fan. I believe those two guys are ideal fits for our defense. I'd be ecstatic to draft either of those guys. I'm a fan of Kris Jenkins, but he's just not a pass rusher. He's a run-stuffer who needs to add weight to his frame. He's one of the better run-stuffers in the NCAA. With that said, I love DaVon Hamilton and fully believe he will return to 2022 form. I am sure of that. My dad had a staph infection and it took him a full year to recover. I just don't see the point in taking any DT early, when we are set with our starters for at least the next 3 years. We need immediate starters at other positions. As a player, I love Darius Robinson. I believe he is a first rounder and I would be shocked if he made it passed Detroit at #29. He'd be a perfect fit across from Hutchinson. Again, I want starters in the early rounds and we are set at starting DE and DT for this season and beyond. I am luke-warm on McKinstry. I just don't get why some people are so high on him. IMO, Terrion Arnold is a far superior CB. I don't have a first round grade on McKinstry. I think he's more of a late 2nd rounder, IMO. I'd much rather wait for a CB and take Green or Jackson. Olu Fashanu is one of the very few players I would stick at #17 and draft, if we couldn't trade up for a WR and if Brian Thomas Jr. was gone. I think he will be a very good NFL OT. I also like Penn State's RT, Caedan Wallace in the mid rounds. He is criminally underrated. Getting Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze would be a dream scenario. That would be perfect. I just don't think it's gonna happen, but if it did, I think those two guys would make an immediate impact on the offense and elevate Trevor Lawrence's play to the next level.

For one, I definitely don't expect to sell Devontez Walker to Jaguars fans or any fans as a matter of fact. Everyone threw him into the bust category instantly after Senior Bowl week. Like I said, he clearly has bust potential, but that's also going to drive him down the board and create an opportunity for a steal. He could absolutely turn out to be a good starting receiver at his best, it's just how the team develops him and if they can bring him along slowly that first season. Rosengarten is very low on my board compared to his consensus, but I could see why he's a fit for the offense, even if not my personal choice.
