    Kool-aid has been the man so long, yall have gotten bored with it. He's the best CB in this draft since they all were in high school. Nothing has changed 🙄

    After listening to that press conference I kinda think Trent likes the depth at corner and receiver and is gonna look to the trenches in round 1

  • @rethkim323

    Cornerback is good but am also in the ballpark of having more pass rush with either a DT like Murphy/Newton or one of the Edge like Turner.
    When the Chiefs made their run last year, they went through the Dolphins, Bills, Ravens, and then finally 49ers. They went through 4 of the top 15 receivers last year in Tyreek Hill (#1 IMO), Diggs, and then Alyuk & Deebo). Having the best DT and great corners did wonders for the Chiefs, they won the SuperBowl with less offense.
    So if we’re talking CB, am taking Kool-Aid. It is looking more and more like he is falling, trade down and get him or get a stud DT to supplement the pass rush. When Mahomes had his worse games last year, it came from games where the interior got through to him. Look at the Jets and Broncos games last year.
    Hell, the majority of the pressure Trevor got last year came from the interior where as the year prior he saw not as much. QBs can’t perform well when pressured in the interior, you can’t step up and it is the closest distance to the QB.

    • @123shoshan
      @123shoshan Месяц назад

      The chiefs had Travis kekce abd mehomes you left that out chiefs don’t make playoffs without those guys so your point is invalid the jaguars need offense

    • @rethkim323
      @rethkim323 Месяц назад

      @@123shoshanDoesn’t that make your earlier comment invalid? I just named 4 receivers in the top 15 and they couldn’t beat the Chiefs. What the Chiefs have more than most teams is a defense and stronger interior line. Besides Kelce, no real receiving threat and with that interior line giving Mahomes more than the average time to find a receiver, Kelce is going to get open.
      Trevor looked like a rockstar the year prior than this one when the interior wasn’t injured and was Swiss cheese.
      You tend to think your answer is right and everyone is wrong, is having an open discussion with multiple view points an issue to you?

    it's not a hard question. It's rather simple. Brian Thomas Jr. .... "but he's not a CB..!!.." I know. We need the ability to score. Sure, having a D that can stop the other team is great, but if you can't capitalize on it by scoring against them, it was all pointless.

    @JoeyEnn Месяц назад

    True, CB is our weakest in terms of depth and wouldn't be mad if we take one, but why draft a first rounder to compete with a FA you recently signed a starting contract? CB isn't a position that often rotates and results in some asset remaining on the sideline. We have questions at positions like DL/WR where at the very least they'll get to be on the field if not plug and play and start right away.

    Man, we need to hope quiyon mitchell falls at 17 with all the qb's and the 3 wrs and 1 TE getting the hype and edge rushers usually get picked early. quiyon mitchelll can be that Jalen Ramsey effect and begin the rebirth of Sacksonville 2.0.
