Raiders took a chance on Mike Caldwell and he was demoted from defensive coordinator. So I believe he was a problem and injuries never help. I would love to see what else we do before the season starts.

We addressed key issues on defense. Secondary depth and interior pass rush. Offensively we addressed the biggest issue and that is vertical receivers. That threat will create space for underneath routes and force defenses to stay honest and not stack the box to stop the run.

I agree with your assessment they need to cleanup the red zone, fumble and scoring on drives when they cross the 50. I do not agree that we lose all the tough games, Philly, Miami, Green Bay, Indy away, Houston away, Detroit and the Jets. We will win 3-4 of those toughest 7. I believe we sweep the Texans, beat the Jets and Miami. 13-4. I know that sounds like a homer, so I will back off one and say 12-5.

I personally think the jaguars defense will suck if we don’t trade for a lock down CB1 like ps2 or marshawn lattimore

I think this team 3rd year in Doug's system, Trevor going into his 4th year as a pro, the upgrade in DC Nielsen, and the upgrades to the defense have been slept on. I believe this team can win 11 - 12 wins. The offensive weapons this team has are so underrated. We will not be a horizontal team, we are gonna stress defenses more vertical and be more explosive, which will allow our defense to be more aggressive. I believe we will win division because Texans schedule is brutal. With that being said these predictions are so hard now because I know the team we saw last year will not be anywhere close to what the Jags will be this year and most predictions are being based off of last years team.

Depending on both the Jags as well as their opponents health, this team can go anywhere from 7-10 all the way to 11-6

Damn and this optimistic? Jags were terrible at home early last year and it ain’t like Houston swept us. Two more games back to back in London? 8-3 last year before a terrible finish? On a stronger schedule? Your a tick off bruh bruh lol If we’re being optimistic, 10 wins. Teal shades? 11-12 wins. Pessimistic? 6-7 wins. We prolly a 9- win team again.

Thanks, Jordan. A very realistic look at the Jags season. I have them at 9-8. Until they get a top QB Jags are going to continue being an average team. Lawrence is just not a guy who can carry the team. I had many dreams of Jags trading Lawrence to the Bears (if the Bears would have traded) for the #1, #9, and next years #1 and possibly #2 or #3. That would have been massive for them but as usual with this GM Jags don't do the right thing. Jags could have reset the QB salary and taken Willians, Arnold and possibly traded back into the 1st and still gotten Thomas. With the reset of QB salary they would have had massive cap space for the next few years, which would have been another plus.

Trevor will clean up the fumbles and have a great year 11-6

How far this teams goes depends on TLAW and this bottom 10 o-line. Trent talks about getting more physical up front and basically did nothing for the o-line.

I wish i was more confident...yes we did some good things..but so did a lot of other teams as well...I think if Trevor has a GREAT year we can be an 11-6 team...but that is a rough schedule..and I think there is potential for a lot of close losses too... Im gonna go with 9-8 again...I think we are a slightly above .500 team..we shall see! We need to stay healthy, have OL actually play well, and MOST IMP have Trevor establish himself in that tier under Mahomes and Burrow as a LEGIT Top 7 QB..and that means Cutting turnovers WAY DOWN...that has to stop!
