I’m assuming this was recorded before Jags signed Terrell Edmonds, Tre Flowers & Ty Summers so I’ll ask: Jordan! How do you feel about those new additions to our secondary and special teams? XD
Was recorded after, I don’t think those moves are big enough to consider in this type of exercise tbh. They’re fine. They’ll compete for back of the roster/special teams.
Dang. Highlights can really misconstrue things lol. Flowers didn't seem awful. He tackles
@@GenJag Agreed. It's fine veteran depth but ideally you don't want to see these guys on the field
When was the last time the Jags hit a 60 yarder?? Scobee longest is at 59!!!
@@christophermaldonado3524 who tf was talking about kicking? Bro where did you come from
We addressed key issues on defense. Secondary depth and interior pass rush. Offensively we addressed the biggest issue and that is vertical receivers. That threat will create space for underneath routes and force defenses to stay honest and not stack the box to stop the run.
Our biggest issue on Offense was not vertical receivers...it was a Soft, Ineffective Offensive Line...I hope we have done enough to fix it.
Imma be honest, Calvin Ridley being shipped out to Tennessee might be better than what it seems on paper. I always thought he didn’t really fit in our offense in the way they wanted him to, which is why he seemed to go missing in stretches of games. I don’t know tho, maybe it’s just me,
It's not just you. Him leaving is a blessing in disguise. Give Thomas a year in the system, and he'll probably be better than Ridley ever could be. We'll be saying Ridley who.
I agree with you with Doug taking over play calling especially with the way our schedule is set up!!! Can’t afford to let opponents know what play we’re calling on 3rd & short yardage especially with those screens 🤦🏿♂️,
I wanna be as optimistic as u about Ryan Nelson but I'm worried we won't get nearly as many picks we had 16 Atlanta had 8 an 6 of those was Jessie Bates a top 3 safety I can see Cisco having similar numbers but overall man coverage usually means less playa on the ball
Yeat again we have to grab a veteran pass rusher to be our #3 guy. Just need a rotational guy that can get 5 to 8 sacks.
I am of the mind that our draft was wretched, other than our first pick, I think that we reached on a lot of players and missed out on better talent. This has been a problem in Jacksonville for decades with poor draft selections. I love the upgrade at center but feel they should have upgraded more on the OL. We still have a need at CB in my view and our schedule looks like it will be hard to end with later years record. I hope that I am wrong, but I fear we might end with a loosing record again. Just not enough done yet IMO
Brennan Armstrong would have been a great addition
Raiders took a chance on Mike Caldwell and he was demoted from defensive coordinator. So I believe he was a problem and injuries never help. I would love to see what else we do before the season starts.
Hey GM Trent Baalke CC is still available sign him now.....
Will Trevor get more time to set up and make throws?
i think signing ridley, drafting rd1 terrion arnold, rd3 troy franklin might have been better…but also think btj will be good
If we signed Ridley we would have still needed a rd 1 WR and it still would’ve been BTJ
Okay but if we kept Ridley there’s no Armstead
That’s not true. They had the cap space to easily do both.
@@GenJag not with Baalke’s reasoning in my opinion
All of a sudden the down fall is all on the Mike Caldwell?? The players played no part in the failure? Gotcha
Jaguars won’t win 8 games because Baalke got rid of their 2 most clutch players zay jones and darious Williams for no reason press Taylor and his predictable runs into stacked boxes and predictable screens is still here and bozo baalke drafted at least 6 practice squad players.

Lmao I get tired of hearing you talk titans fan
Zay was a ok wr Willam’s was to small to defend tall wr so
