    I'm really stoked about us getting Josh Cephus . At 6'3 & about 185 he's not a burner but I do see him in the same vein as Zay . He's an extremely reliable WR who simply never drops the ball

      …sounds like a taller Jarret Dillard to me lol

    Stoked he's here, hopeful he gets 7+ TDs this year. As long as they can run the ball much better, which is a question right now, the passing game should improve how it needs to

    Just saw Steve Smith's most recent video where he talked about Ridley vs BTJ in this offense and he got me hyped. Can't wait to see the product on the field.

    I think he’s going to be a STUD!!! He’s in a way better position than those other WRs taking before him. If Doug takes back play calling that is.

      I think Rome in the better spot because of the 2 vets around him they don't need him to be good right now. I feel like we're in a spot where we need BTJ to develop into a wr1

      @@kcam2014Yeah but we have enough talent around him where he don't have to Carry the receiving room so the pressure isn't as high on him in my opinion

      Rome has DJ Moore and Mike Evan’s don’t he? That’s deadly.

    I feel like the jags are really being slept on so far. We have a new excellent press man corner who will be able to develop, and extraordinary D-line, Trevor Lawrence, a top running back, big bodied receivers that can get open well and a much more functional O-line.

    I suspect that BTJ will get more spoon-fed throws in the Jaguars offense that LSU gave to Nabers. He didn't do it a lot in college because of Nabers, but given who is on the Jags WR roster, I think BTJ might be our best option for those as well.

  • @cheetohead6942
    @cheetohead6942 22 дня назад +2

    He's not yet a #1 but he has time to develop into one, he fits the role of big body wr, and burner to stretch the field, which we needed, but could develop into a true #1

    Do you make a WR1 out of a guy whose route tree looks like a straight stick?

    This was a good summary of what Thomas can do and what we hope he developpes into. I was very high on him and happy the Jags did get him; however, our bigger position of need was and still is CB. They should have taken Arnold. There were several quality, speedy receivers available who could take the top off the defense when the Jags picked again. If they had done that, they still could have gone for a top receiver next year, too, if needed. How often does a CB with Arnold's skills fall into the Jags lap? Almost never, as evidenced by the fact they still only have ONE quality CB. And I'd bet the house there will not be a stud CB available to the Jags next year, unless they are picking in the top 10 or trade up.

    I hear alot of the same criticism as i did with DK metcalf like he can only run the deep route. I said back when we were drafting then DK is more than that and is most definitely is. I feel BTJ wont be DK of course but can definitely surprise ppl with his route tree and time to develop will only get better if he puts proper work in so id say yes he can be our number 1. Expect rookie luls tho it happends to all rookies

      so then you’re saying that xavier worthy, ricky pearsall, and xavier legette are all going to be the wr1?

    • @jrfly4307
      @jrfly4307 21 день назад

      @@TheAxoGamer Those teams Im sure have an expectation that they could become #1 WR options. Brian Thomas Jr for the Jags has to become that #1 WR they are missing rite now, Pearsall who I do like, in my opinion he wont become a #1 but has the chance to become a #2 but the 49ers took a big chance on him, same thing goes for Legette except his size gives him more of a shot but I am still saying that Leggete also will probably be a solid #2. My opinions ofcourse.

    You can’t see Kirk at 1 because Kirk isn’t dependable few drops from Kirk before his injury and now Gabe Davis isn’t the 1 cause Gabe never played with Lawrence and he’s more a deep threat I see Brian Thomas Jr as the 1

    Brian Thomas has to play the role that Randy Moss had with Tom Brady. I'm expecting at least 20 TD receptions in 2024.
