A lot of yall don’t know how to scout these WRs. A limited route tree does not mean the player is not capable of doing more. BTJ does need to work on making his hitches more snappy and also work on balance in those aspects. Also the fact that you all think he has questionable hands says all I need to know about the way yall watch these players. He had a 3.6% drop rate which was one of the lowest in all of this draft class. BTJ has elite speed that ACTUALLY shows up on film, good lateral quickness and smoothness for someone his size, GOOD hands both short and deep with a 3.6%. Drop rate. This mfer is a legit WR
@@raztafar99 🤦🏾♂️body catcher or hands catcher if your drop rate is 3.6% is still insane. Also if he has a 3.6% drop rate with body catching why doesn’t everyone else have a similar drop rate or better drop rate if they’re catching with their hands more? Shouldn’t they also start body catching or is it the fact that his body catching concerns are grossly overstated and when he’s tracking the ball deep he has incredible deep ball catching with his hands and overall good hands since his drop rate is 3.6%

Thank you. He does not break tackles and hes a body catcher. The simplest balls he catches with his body. He's not aggressive on jump balls, even though he's taller than the DB. Guy goes down after first impact. He does not seem comfortable with the ball. Definitely not a first rounder.
Am I trippin, or does it look like he's off-balance after he catches the ball on a bunch of these. Like, he catches the ball and looks like he's about to fall down after a ton of these catches. Weird.

Daniels and Lamar are similar in so many ways. Thomas would fit right in in Baltimore. Get Lamar that big body, wide catch radius wr that he can just chuck it up to
@@GLA45Amg716 true but Daniel’s lacks the arm strength that Lamar has and had. I think a lot of these deep balls in this video were underthrown where a qb with a bigger arm could have led BT for a tuddy.
@@deathbyqtip33 I actually think Daniel’s has a stronger arm he puts more velocity on his passes. He’s just a better passer in general especially this point in their careers
I was way too high on BTJ coming into this video. He looks really uncomfortable catching the ball without his body or when it's contested. I can't see a team in the back end of the 1st Round taking him if he's gonna be this much of a project. Daniels looked pretty rough too but I was already lower on him.
I don't care about what ya'll say about body catcher and all of that stuff. You can't speed and size. Move him around and work with his route running and hands. I believe he will be great in our offense and make us more explosive than ever. Keep my boy home and make him the 14th pick. Who Dat!!!
This his hands are in the 30th percentile which is strange considering everything else physically is freakish. That definitely plays into the drops but isn't a deal-breaker. Could be an elite player if he improves his coordination, which is possible. His over-the-shoulder catching is impressive on intermediate to deep passes.
I was really impressed by the few games I watched of him, but ISO film like this can really show you his flaws. A lot of the misses, BTJ is wide open. Gotta reevaluate. Caleb Williams, though, is generational. The term gets thrown around a lot but there are levels to this and there is a significant gap between he and two other highly-rated prospects. Best FBS QB I've seen since Luck.
I saw a lot of videos saying he might actually be qb2 but I'm not seeing it. Even watching the highlights he gives me concerns and looks like he's bailed out alot. Hopefully this comment ages horribly and the kid balls out
Anyone else watch this and think he's not good? He just lazily waits in zones half the time and exploits bad zone coverage. Against man he only runs go routes unless they give him a good cushion and then he'll just clearly come back for a hitch. And his hands aren't consistent either
