6'3" guys who can separate like this are so incredibly rare. He may need refinement in other areas but he has the single most important trait a receiver can have that absolutely can not be taught. Hes in a whole tier above Odunze in my book. Got Nabers and Thomas Jr. as 2A/2B.
As a colts fan, watching that speed and separation at 6’4” just made me go, “oh he’s a colt”. Ballard loves athletic freaks. He’d been mocked to us and now I see why. If he’s there at 15 and we don’t end up trading up for bowers, then we’re taking him (or Terrion Arnold).
@@calvinwood7120 he was decent enough for us this year. Makes me think of Dayo Odeyingbo, athletic lineman who might take a few years to get up and running with us. Good for him to learn behind deforest Buckner and Grover Stewart though
Everything in his game can easily be fixed now that he doesn't have to got to school and play. He can clean up his game but i see him able to run every route and to be twitchy and that fast at 6'4" is insane
With an offense like JD and Nabers your very limited in your reps. JD is already a run threat so putting both him and Nabers on short routes rather than highlighting his excellency in the deep game wouldn't make sense. Malik is stronger in the short to mid range so it would make sense BT would be sent down the field majority of his plays.
Daniels is that good man what is the difference between him and Joe burrow’s heisman seasons? Joe had chase and Jefferson and nobody questioned his abilities because he had those receivers
Daniels had 2 sophomore tackles, an undersized center that got blown up frequently and guards were a group of 5 transfer with the mentality of nun and an underperforming right guard. But Daniels still embarrassed the nation, yeah Daniels can't play.
@@calvinwood7120 it’s a team sport LSU went undefeated Joe did not do that by himself and jayden’s regular season numbers are slightly better than Joe’s believe it or not
This kid would be top 3 if he came back, possible Heisman (6 million-dollar man). Now who knows with all the QB's in the daft a deep WR field may fall to second round or lower first going to a team likely loaded at WR ala Terrace Marshall.
HE DOESNT RUN MANY ROUTES...he runs 3 routes...soon as he sees NFL caiber corners hes going to get half this production, All he does is run straight. .
But route runnin is teachable, can’t teach speed lol he does need to improve his route running/route tree but with a decent coach he can progress. Nothin an off-season can’t fix

Get Reggie Wayne coaching him and he’d be fantastic
Ya he’s 100% a Colt if he’s there. I think they took a 99th percentile size guy on majority of their picks last year

The thing that strikes me is that even when he jumps up a gear, after 2-4 steps dude doesn’t even look like he’s running hard. Looks impressive.
Thanks for this breakdown 🙏🏻

btj to the jags
What a beast 🤩 Thomas as well
Good film session!
Should be a top 10-20 1st round easy

Hope hes there at #9 to Chicago if the top 3 wr are gone. I believe BT isas good as any of them.
Are there any other routes he runs? Majority of this film breakdown is him running Go’s or fades
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. JD limits him too

This is why I'm a lil cautious on Jayden Daniels. Dude has two monster WRs.

He reminds me of AJ Brown, with an extra gear.
question is, who made who better? Daniels the WRs or the WRs Daniels?
both can be good. Burrow Chase Jefferson terrace Marshall etc... they all ate and all ended up good NFL players

Thomas, Hyatt, Dale. Tuff wr room.

I see taller Mike Wallace when I watch him
