Sorry to hear about your daughter and glad to hear she is ok. 🙂
Thx appreciate it 💯
That rumble sounds cheesy as hell! 😂
Those EV horsepower & torque are instant, I would believe, I'm definitely digging the new scat logo, definitely wanna see what happens when 24 Charger Scat Performance pack II rolls up to the light against a last call 23 Charger Scat.
It'll smoke the current scat pack and hellcats until 2025 when they detune the stage 1 kit from 670hp to stock, which will leave you with a mobile home on wheels
Still disappointing not even on teslas level yet performance wise
@@Opium64 That's 4 the Banshee, it's gonna be as close the Dodge will get to a Tesla Killa, like the plaid most of ICE folks ain't bout to spend that much on an Electric tho the affluent "Elites" will that would be Only reason they showed the Banshee at the Debut, and came out with neutered EV lower trims 1st, the electronically limited top speeds on the lower trim models was deliberately done.
The car nobody wanted from the Company that has more inventory than it knows what to do with and still refuses to increase the discounts beyond the RT line on Challengers and Chargers. LOL! 😆
Well said! 💯😃
Prayers up for your daughter 🙏
At least it looks better than most electric cars.
I can honestly say that I won't be in any hurry whatsoever to get one of these EVs. And I agree with you that I'm glad they're not using the hellcat badge. That's a class all by itself. However, I am glad to see the Scatpack badge will live on even if it is on an EV. As a Hellcat and Scatpack owner it makes me feel like I own a little piece of history BECAUSE they're now making the transaction to Electric Muscle.
There are other companies still producing v8 for the time being, like Cadiallac and Ford. I don't understand why Dodge is completely abandoning the v8
Hemi is done get over it
Shit been done lol
It had its run. It went out with a bang. Time to push forward.
@@Neverpartywithdiddyanddrive🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You can get over it but with that weigth you can't get pass it😂
Hey you don’t talk to that guy like that, everyone wants to see more hemi
First off I wanna say sorry to hear your daughter was involved in an accident, I’m glad to hear she is okay and let’s agree in prayer she has a speedy recovery and heals completely very soon.
I agree with everything you said here in this video, I’m bummed because I thought they would at least try to surprise us with the return of the 5.7 V8 the RT’s have but a modified version and we didn’t even get that….
Im thinking about leasing one myself, just waiting to see what plays out and what the prices are gonna be. If i did i would custom order it, not try to lease from any dealer inventory. Either way ill be keeping my challenger.
Don't buy it just lease it because you'll end up spending 17k at least for maintenance on the car every 5-7 yrs.
Prayers for your daughter! 🙏. I’m glad we have a 2018 Charger Scat pack, which we’ll keep for a long time. Don’t care for the sound of the EV.
It’s faster awd you is getting more. V8 getting blown out
Yes, but true Hemi enthusiasts couldn't care less. It's not all about speed. If you don't get it, you're not a car enthusiast
It says and I quote, target a 11.5 in the 1/4.. also it tops out at 136 MPH.. it’s beating scat but not cats that’s for sure and only in the 1/4.. on the top end, a current scat will beat…
@@williamrose7818 haven’t drop the Daytona yet
@@williamrose7818I will believe those quarter mile numbers when they are tested by some one other than Dodge. They made some big promises about the demon 170 top speed and come to find out a red eye has a better top speed.
Correct on all points bro !! They will never catch lightning in a bottle like they did with the Hemi engine. Glad the daughter is ok Hemi ! Everyone screaming “ Hemi is done and move on ! Hemi is done when I don’t have one I’m my driveway, and that won’t be anytime soon for me ! 😈
Hemi Muscle Friend i pray for your Daughter Speedy recovery okay and keep up the great work 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪💪🙏🙏🙏
What do you guys think about EV content moving forward? At least the RWD Scat Packs/ Hellcats took skill to drive fast. These new cars are going to be nanny'd up to where you run the same run every time. Push a button do a computer controlled burnout/ doughnut. What is the skill in drag racing an EV AWD? Top speed limited, on par with a Honda Civic. What can you upgrade? It will be, a buy next years more expensive model if you want faster period.
I be driving my 69 ford f100 pickup forever cause there's is nothing like working on the 302 engine and the sound, driving just my opinion.
Thanks for speaking the truth, you hit the nail on the head. I like the dodge products with combustion engine, not into that ev stuff and will never be getting one. Thanks for the video.
First off, Hemi Muscle. I'm sorry to hear that your daughter was involved in an accident. I am praying for her speedy recovery, as well as comfort and peace for you and your family. As far as the new Charger Daytona and ScatPack EV's coming out. You make some great points. I'm a retired Law Enforcement Officer (59 y.o.), who owns a 2019 Ram 1500 Crew Cab and is trying to buy a house. The new model DOES NOT appeal to me. With older homes, you will definitely have to upgrade your electric power (220 amps), especially in the garage area. So there is the strong possibility of bringing your house up to the proper safety codes.
I previously had a 2014 Challenger RT Redline. Once I get the house, I'll probably look at a low-mileage 2019-23 Challenger or Charger RT or ScatPack. Or maybe I'll just ditch Mopar for the 24 Mustang GT or a 23-24 Camaro SS (gotta have the Recaro Seats).😂😂
Praying your daughter has a speedy recovery 🙏🏾. I also agree these dealers are going to mark these cars up and they are going to sit. I think Dodge should have taken the route Ford did with the V8 Mustang and the Mustang Mach E. Give buyers the option.
There is a lot of Pentastar V6s Chargers out there, if the SixPack Charger is affordable, it will sell. The only thing is people might want N/A engines or even V8s, they will be missing out on those consumers.
Also I hope your daughter is doing good.
Most important take. Glad your daughter is fine. Now about the car. I won’t walk back my statement completely for how it looks but the ones they rolled out yesterday looks much better than that gray one they leaked. I feel like it’s a thing or two missing to make it really stand out. As I will always say I will be skeptical of EVs until they make it feasible because to me it’s so much that’s unproven to me. Even with the I6’s I’m like meh.
Hemi,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time.
Well time to go to the Mustang. 😅😅😅
Prayers for your family & daughter brother 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 & I never skip 🔥🔥🔥
That 6 pack hurricane is gonna sell on the strengh of the styling. Especially after almost a decade and a half of same old melted army man rubberized dash board and a steering wheel that can be found in the Pacifica. And and and people will still be able to risk voiding there warranty by modding them. As far as the EVs, it depends on a lot of variables which is why people prefer Teslas over EVs.
Praying for your Daughter Speedy recovery OG 🙏🏾
CAN YOU SAY BANKRUPT? 💀
Mannnnnn, I'm disappointed just took my RT classic in for a service. Spoke with my mechanic and he advised that the New model won't be worth purchase. Smh
Glad to see one of the real mopar channels not switching up and juicing the EV for views/content. I get what Dodge is tryna do but this new Charger not gonna cut it. Prayers up for your fam 🙏🏽
Appreciate the support bro 💪🏾💯
They can still make V8's if the Particulates for the emissions are lower. Ford's engine emissions is not as high as Dodge emissions percentage. But they don't want to put more money 2invest in a more efficient hemi engine because everything is going on more efficient
Great video bro! I respect the fact that you are not just jumping on the band wagon!!
I appreciate that!
We got your back champ!! Handle your business slim. The tube ain't going no where.
Only the twin turbo six pack model would be interesting if you plan to upgrade to larger turbos downpipes tune when parts become available
Like the modern look and interior. If it was both electric and motor and 4 wheel drive doing 185 mph minimum all would be forgiven.
That whole lineup is ass smh…
Facts 😂
Could be worse... Could be an entire group hating on an EV that results in credits to where their brand brings out a GT500 powered Raptor and a "all new" generation of Mustang. Yeah had nothing to do with MachE or Lightning sales... naahhhhh perish the thought * sarcasm *
Interior is nice.. besides that. That’s about it. One thing gotta keep in mind plaid was going for 130k now they’re starting at 80k? Used tesla plaid are going around 60k i think eventually the prices will go down and they will be on dealers lots like other EV’S
I don't see the infurastructure for all of these EV cars. There are gas stations everywhere. I rarely see an electric charging station. That's going to limit people's travel.
Straight facts bro bro to be even more real they hurt a lot of hard working people I hope the go under nobody is even buying there products now because of the grimmy stuff now. Stay blessed my bro great health and more 🙏🏻👊🏿🔥🔥🔥
Damn, bro, your comment need a translator. Maybe I'm not comprehending your msg. You know you can edit, right?
I’m hearing 60,000 for the RT…
It’s the same horsepower. Electric motors naturally have more horsepower and torque than gas engines. Well depending on how the motor is built. The trade off is usually top speed though.
Prayers for your daughter and family!
💪🏾💯🙏
Great video. You summed up my thoughts exactly! Like you read my mind. EV cars are not muscle.
The way gas prices are.....I'm not complaining
Glad ur daughter is safe and u right they gone charge high for these cars
Sorry to hear about your daughter. Wishing her a smooth recovery.
I understand that car manufacturers sometimes make permanent changes to certain models between generations, but usually, it’s only to make them better than their predecessors and sometimes, they may still include some older feature options for those that prefer “tradition”. But in this case, not only have they gone too far but they could’ve also offered what the previous generation offered, those being a V8 and a supercharged version, RWD powering only the rear wheels and not a RWD mode and just to make it match its predecessor, a conventional trunk over a tailgate. If everyone is criticizing this car and mentioning every reason, then it proves that Dodge needs to offer what the previous Charger did, since it was literally outselling every other American sedan combined. The change is only threefold, which are the engine, the drivetrain and the trunk and although they don’t have to be included at launch, it’ll be better to add them ASAP. Speaking of this, Dodge now has a chance to be praised by surprising their fans that once criticized them by announcing that these options will be added and that they will keep offering them indefinitely, much like what Ford announced about the V8 in the Mustang, sticking to tradition.
More power than the 5.7 and 6.4, and Tim claimed the Scat version would be as fast or faster than a Redeye in EV form despite weighing almost 6000lbs and more power than the 6.4 in Inline 6 form... edit: Right, its AWD with a button to make it a burnout machine in RWD. Yeah I see why its a "let down" Them boats about to piss off a bunch of current Scat/Cat owners and make the Tesla fan club cry in their soy lattes.
Sincerely a guy in a slower, inefficient 20 year old Dakota.
I’m curious about the 6pack. My next car will be a Mustang GT anyway. I’m keeping my V8 as long as I possibly can. Dodge shot themselves in the foot going full EV instead of gradually going into it. None of these will be under $50k. And fixing it will be worse. These EVs can’t even handle an average Detroit winter.
Im kinda torn. I love the design love it. I wish either the country was better setup for electric or it did have a v8 in it, but i like the car. Im not sure how to feel overall. I kinda like the futuristic feel of it, i think its pretty badass, but im just not sure on trusting the value and ease of an electric.
Who are they trying to reach with fake, piped in exhaust noise. Amazing how they think people actually want that crap. I'm excited about the twin turbo Six Packs though. I just hope they don't weigh at two tons but probably will. The battery powered versions weigh over 5800 lbs!
50k RT for inline turbo 6 cylinder. They're not full EV they're hybrid with electric motor assistance. The money is too much though.
135mph, 6000lbs curb weight, and still slow🤢🤢
The government regulations ended the current Hemi, but they could’ve made a new hemi. Ford and GM have updated their engines. Carlos Traveres, who owns the Stellantis over in Europe, said they can’t buy any credits to make new engines that we want. Reason to not buy a new vehicle from them!!
Here's my take...and it's just an opinion from a dude who's a lil' bit older and seen this muscle car thing since the 70's go around full circle already.
Most average dudes own a home. So charging won't be an issue for most......
We're in the age where people luv getting the latest whatever just because it's the lastest....
After market EV shop tunes???...How many shops out there with the skill sets to do that??
These new cars will help the V8's and 392's hold their values....I don't think it will increase those values because there's still too many of them out there, but it should hold the values and desirability.
I’m hearing it has around 670hp AWD, and only a top speed of 135ish…I know you don’t do that all the time. But still, it’s weird.
Facts! 135👎🏾
Yeah top speed is 135 so all that “horsepower” is an illusion just like the exhaust sounds 😂😅
Yet in California, their state government would GPS electronically limited to only 10mph over the posted limit.. and in Georgia, their state government wants sound level cameras and sensors to write "noise violation tickets" which an EV would not set off. But everyone's blaming Dodge for killing of their "hemi" lol
Hummer EV makes 1000hp weighs 9000lbs; top speed LIMITED to 108, yet has "Watts to Freedom"
Ev insurance ain't no joke bro
Prayers for your daughter 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾but The New Dodge is not the same but I wouldn’t mind Dodge Challenger the black ghost
These EVs are going to cost money. At that price point get luxury plus performance, BMW G80, G82, Blackwing etc.... Current scatpacks/hellcats can't sell because they too expensive. Dodge dropping the ball.
lord that promotion was wack af
What about 2025 there will be the four door gas version.
Don’t Hemi’s cost the same as EV’s?
You might be able to find a Charger Scat Pack for the same price as a Tesla Model 3 Performance, The Tesla is significantly faster 0-60 and it will get the equivalent of over 100 mpg. That's the problem for ICE cars - they can't get the same performance at the same price. It's only going to get worse.
Would not have one..they are a fire Hazzard
The government Stopped Caterpillar from selling dirty burning engines to semi truck manufacturers. Because the emissions Particulates were too high. the only way you'll see a Caterpillar engine in something new is in heavy machinery. Cummins engine Detroit Diesel. And a few others met requirements but Caterpillar bowed out to revamp the design like dodge is doing.
SAD DAY!!
I still think Dodge could engineer a more modern V-8 engine. Mopar had a lot of successful V-8’s other than the Hemi. Running to the Mustang isn’t going to fix it. New Mustang is nice but way over hyped. I have owned over 70 vehicles. The Hemi vehicles where the closet thing to a 70’s muscle car in a updated package. That’s the formula that EV’s can’t replicate. An even the new Mustangs have more of a European flavor since 2015. The last of the true Mustang’s stopped at S197.
itll be the next car thats motor swapped the most.
It's all the same thing at the end of the day. "PROFIT" for coporations. The housing market here is pathetic, they are selling slab houses for 300-400k. Houses on effin concrete for damn near half a mil.
I look at it if this works out with EV muscle car and if so then ford will shift but if it doesn't works like think there not gonna sell lol
Four-door models, cars powered by the inline-6, and a more powerful SRT-badged EV built on the brand's still-unannounced 800-volt architecture will follow in 2025.
I hate people keep saying it's regulation it's not regulations Ford is still making the mustang with the V8
It's the slowest in top speed, it's much heavier than the competitors, deliberately detuned, range is worse than the competition as well. Dodge needs to scrap it now and release a video saying "April fools" because this idea is ridiculous. If Hertz and other dealers are getting rid of their EV line and the current administration is wanting to slow the push of EV vehicles, what the hell is Dodge thinking?
It's not all ev it's mixed like the corvette...engine and ev
It's going to be faster, but you won't feel it like a V8.
Ya'll tellin' me no blk cartubers got the live exclusives of the new joints??? I watched 3 videos today from them other dudes who were on the set in the D reviewing these cars. We gotta' get that politic game up. We need to be on set when the new joints drop Joe. And best wishes and thoughts to your princess. I know personally what it's like to have a little princess suffer.
I won't even care about dodge ones it goes full electric
I'm not interested in this car because it's not a V8 engine option in it period 🤢🤢🤢👎👎👎
Good. Hopefully all the theives think the same. lol
we about to see a bunch of rich kids talking ish about how they gap'd hellcats and scats on tik tock in one of these now.
yea dat'z a nice 2025 Intrepid which it's what it shoulda been called 🤣
Dodge couldn't afford to keep making the hemi. The engine was old outdated and non emissions compliant. Maybe it has to do with having 16 spark plugs I dont know. For every car they built with a hemi they paid fines and penalties. Theyre fanbase was lucky enough they were around as long as they were. They were losing money on the hemi. Only branches of Stellantis that'll recieve premium investments is ram and jeep. Everyone else will get what trickles down from them. Why would dodge keep building them only to turn around and give the profits to the gov.
I have to disagree with you on few things. If U.S. economy would become stable (not), but for argument sake let's it will. Electric Charger (2nd and 3rd) generation, we are talking about year 2030-2035 here, especially Banshee model will be Very popular. When I was a kid, I was growing up when carburetors were dying and fuel injectors were growing in popularity. I did see plenty of carbureted cars, but I was a whole lot more interested in fuel injectors (not talking about V8 here at all) and the power and evolution they were brining. Kids who are 5-10 years old are experiencing exactly the same thing. All ICE cars are dying and electrical cars are growing. Electrical cars Will look so much better than ICE because there is no engine or transmission. And the amount of Power and High level of technology electrical cars will have, will blow your mind away 10 years from now.
U tripping to think u can replace that lol these kids don't even like ev so im trying understand wat ur talking about
@@jermaineogarro2124 I'm trying to explain that most kids in ALL generations are always looking for a new high tech thing. My generation likes V8's because we grew up in an ear of American Muscle 2.0. In 2035 an 18 year old guy will have nothing but electrical cars to choose from. He won't even know what a V8 engine was back in 2000's. (except watching vidoes on RUclips of course) That's my point, that's what I'm trying to explain. You cannot know or experience something what you don't know and never experienced before.
I'm going to say this again
90 per cent of muscle car fans will either keep buying 2023 and older models or will switch to ford for the mustang GTs. Dodge is going to fail big time
Negative. I'll bet you on that one George. lol
Hey what's up slim. You know what I see here man? A WHOLE BUNCH of CLEVER MARKETING. Lots of glitzy bitzy crap. You know what it's like Hem? It's like buying a car with lots of gadgets and gimmicks that you know you'll never use,yet will cost you a lotta money to fix when it goes bad. Man Dodge can keep it.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 For your daughter.
💪🏾💯🙏
The car is ugly and The steering wheel is ridiculously stupid. The rest of the interior is OK.
That Dodge EV is awful. Buy yourself a pre-owned V8.
Snorpar as usual lol
Gay😂😂
I’m sure they’ll get some sales on em I doubt it will hold a candle to hemi sales I just hope the current cat and scats prices drop like a hot potato soon
Looks sweet inside and out but it is an EV and I’m not in the least bit interested I’ll move on to something else
