george trying his best not to insult the vegas track is so funny
I can't believe that's actually the track lol, it's embarrassing. Looks like a square bear.
I honestly feel embarrassed to have that track in my country.. At least we have COTA.
@@joshn1678 It looks like a pig if you ask me.
@@the_gilligan COTA looks like some weird kind of knife. Abu Dhabi looks like a gun. Bahrain looks like a duck getting ready for a boxing match. Spa looks like an Uzi.
@@nomar5spaulding baku looks like a spoon, Monza and imola it's a pair of boots
It's actually nice to hear this from an actual driver tbh lol
Lando’s done it on quadrant
Right? I agree
@@robertandrews9856 yep. Coco Hayashi also joined Quadrant along with Lando last month.
Would be better if we could be sure that it is his real opinion…
classic circuit: top tier
New, arabs and the ones in the cities: SUX
Stop arabs invasion, stop money invasion
5:25
"Red Bull Ring. I mean just for the name it's got to go in the Meh column, hasn't it?" 😂😂
Based 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 what a comedian!!!!
Bet he wishes he was driving a Red Bull lol.
Excellent... Will that comment irk redbull...will have to See
George understood the assignment😂
George Russell is the type of guy to apologize for his own tier list rankings. 😂
Except for Red Bull Ring
The British are nothing but polite when they're throwing shade.. lol
If you would have been in his position you would do the same
because he cant say anything against ARABS noobs circuits, because arabs brings money
I feel like 4 tiers isn't enough for all these tracks. For Silverstone, Suzuka, and Spa there was zero hesitation so they would probably have made it into an even higher tier if there was one.
well George did invent some new tiers there to solve that issue 😂
@@7BD273 I lost it when he put the first one straight in the in between area😂 the original tier website or whatever that is definitely wouldn't allow that
We need a God Tier
Silverstone, Spa, Suzuka (and probably even Jeddah for me) have to be in God Tier
Legendary tier
George Russell is the type of guy to say, “Lets get cracking”.
Let's get crickey
I don't know why i suddenly thought of Aston's team principal
Blimey
I would love a Mick teaches George German (slang) edition please 😂
or Toto, when they are doing the Austrian GP 😂
That would be awesome!
Austrian slang would be even more funny 😅
Yes! And George could explain some of his old-timey British slang in return.
@@apeacebone6499 Asuna Yuuki this is Toto.
I love the fact that everybody loves interlagos! Such an iconic track that delivers good races time and time again. I also love that the laps are short and full of possible battles
Notice how actual circuits are always well looked upon whereas George had to think a bit when looking at street circuits. And yet FIA insists on having more street circuits
For me, my favourite track will always be suzuka. Fast flowing, unique unbelievable. Still can remember Lewis in 2018 radioing in during practice saying he is having the best time.
Right now i can't choose between belgium suzuka and jeddah. All are such a thrill to watch.
With Suzuka I still think about joules
@@stacemonger1180 ye rip
It's Fernando's favourite track, I think it's the same for many other drivers.
Suzuka is god tier for sure. Even the fans are great
George Russell is the type of guy to rank in between tiers.
It would have been even more hilarious if he said 67,45% top tier and 32,36% great track
Awesome video but now we also need a Lewis version! 😉
I am already imagining his funny giggles..😂
Don't speak for me pls.
@@rameshg878 .. I am already imagining him sorting them by race.
"Impressive, very nice... Now let's see Lewis Hamilton's tier list..."
I imagine him yeeting some of the circuits like he did to Ocon on Grill the Grid Height Challenge 😂
I love George's reasoning for each track😂❤
rb ring is greak
@@bossmen6665 which is why his reasoning is even more funny😂
Then we need a Mercedes Ring😂
George's reasoning:
1. This is a solid track.
2. Hence I put it in the category that is solid.
3. Here I'm putting it in the solid category.
4. I do that because its a solid track.
He put baku in meh. yet puts monaco in top? LMFAO
Thought this might help people (like me) to refer back to when picking tracks on the playstation.
Top Tier:
Imola: Considers it a spectacular circuit.
Jeddah: Praises it for the driving experience among new circuits.
Zandvoort: Enjoys the fast and flowing nature of the track.
Interlagos: Holds a special place as his first F1 win.
Silverstone: One of the best circuits on the calendar.
Suzuka: Another top circuit, similar to Silverstone.
Spa-Francorchamps: A classic and highly praised circuit.
Between Great and Top Tier:
Monaco: Considers it a great circuit, but challenging for racing.
Great:
Budapest: Likes the fast and flowing nature of the track.
Austin: Considers it a fun track.
Singapore: Thinks it's a great street circuit.
Qatar: One of the most enjoyable new circuits.
Monza: Fast, flowing, and good for racing.
Between Solid and Great:
Montreal: Its a good one
Melbourne: A cool track, but changes made it worse for driving and better for racing.
Solid:
Barcelona: Thinks it's a good track but not great.
Abu Dhabi: Considers it a solid track.
Bahrain: Always nice to visit and race there.
Between Meh and Solid:
Las Vegas: Unable to rank due to not having seen the track layout or driven it on the simulator, but gives it the benefit of the doubt.
Meh:
Mexico City: Loves the fans and the city, but not the circuit itself.
Baku: Great for racing, but not as exciting for driving.
Red Bull Ring: Puts it in meh category, seemingly as a joke based on the name.
George really saved the best for last! 😂
It's impossible to look at the Vegas layout and think it's gonna be great. I'm with George, the closest to méh. But I hope we're wrong
Been telling people for months it would be great. I felt pretty vindicated with that one, other than the issues in qualy.
Gave redbull a slap with that one George 🤣🤣 brilliant
Oh dear lord, yes, they've GOT to be shivering after that comment whilst wiping away their tears with all the P1 thropies they'll get this year...
@@_-TC bla bla bla... go back to watching football where your toxicity will feel right at home
@@_-TC man can’t take a bit of banter
@rottieshepcalibre9156 How is that toxic lol? George gave a cheeky jab to Red Bull, that user just gave it back. It's just banter, no need to take it so seriously. It's all just people going vroom vroom round in circles after all
And you love that ???? They are slapping us on track and you are happy that the we "slap" them in a Video that nobody in redbull is going to see
I love how Spa is always just an automatic top tier no matter who you ask. It’s like the most beloved track in F1 history. And for good reason who doesn’t love Spa and the weather change races we’ve had over the years, the Schumacher Hakkinen duels and the crashes. And as is unfortunately the way with motor racing we’ve had some very tragic moments there. I’ll never forget how quick Kimi used to be at Spa in his McLaren days gosh that car sounded like bliss.
great content, thank you team! you can tell George is a pure racer
see you in Baku 💙
George got my respect for the last one red bull just for the name 😂😂😂😂 still can't stop laughing 🤣😁😁
It was an amusing line, but you might be mentally challenged if you laughed that hard at it.
Fair play to George for putting some tracks in the Meh column. Can we please have Lewis’?
F1 should introduce grand slam GP a bit like in Tennis with Spa, Suzuka, Interlagos, Silverstone and Monza and these GP will count double the points. Would be so fun
3:33 even the subtitles went full British
Hahahah what a video, smiles all around. Nice concept! Please let lewis do this as well. We need more engagement from the drivers on this channel!
Tell us what you really think, George!! I think we got his true opinion on all but the Red Bull circuit. Overall, a "courageous" assessment of the tracks!
George was so real for that last one 💀
Describing both Hungaroring and Monza fast and flowing is priceless 😎😅😁
RED BULL RING A MEH TRACK JUST BECOS OF ITS NAME 😂😂😂
Curious George inherited Inspector Sebs title
Even though I'm a red bull fan, ranking a track as meh purely based off the name was a chad move
5:32 Toto is proud of his driver
A lot of respect for him willing to not toe the company line when it comes to the Vegas circuit.
Fun video! Wish this was F1 channel content and that every driver on the grid would do one. Either way, rad. Hopefully we’ll get Lewis to do one.
Hahahhah😂 Redbull ring. That was funny.😂😂😂😂
as a Saudi F1 fan, I'm glad George thinks Jeddah is a top-tier track! As a spectator, I really enjoyed it (been to all three so far), happy to know drivers enjoy it too.
George is fantastic at this haha- my ranking is very similar with just a few changes!
Amazing how you guys did so well in Melbourne, considering you’ve given George an old layout there…
George is my favourite driver😊😊😊😊
same
Same !! 🩵
Same!
He’s kinda dirty though
@@Cesar_09_He's dirty? Have you seen Verstappen and Alonso?
i love the way george says meh its like meeeeeee
My own tier list:
Top tier: Jeddah, Silverstone, Spielberg, Suzuka, Interlagos
Great: Bahrain, Baku, Barcelona, Montreal, Hungaroring, Spa, Monza, Austin
Solid: Australia, Imola, Zandvoort, Qatar, Abu Dhabi
Meh: Miami, Monaco, Singapore, Mexico
Unknown: Las Vegas
Love this!!! Please make a Lewis version. That would be great too!
Budapest: ‘fast and flowing…’. Fast? It’s one of the slowest tracks in the calendar. Flowing? Oh, yes. Watching Senna, Prost, Berger and the eventual winner Boutsen in action in 1990 was an absolute treat; a very eventful race. I went with my cousin and his wife to the race, situated in the grandstand overlooking the chicane at the top of the track. It was amazing to see the cars dance from corner to corner: it was graceful to behold. A wonderful - albeit very warm - day.
What do you think of George's rankings ?
I'm gonna rank his rankings as 'Great'.
Let's hope more drivers will make such a tier list so we can make a meta tier list of drivers' tier lists
“Just for the name it’s got to go in the meh column” 😂 SAVAGE
It would be interesting to have Lewis opinion too 😊
He feels like he's too good for that
@@marijn17s oh you spoke with Lewis 🤣
George throwing shade to RB lmao We need a little more banter and sh*ttalking is fun!
This is great content. Drivers talking things that matter to them.
Haha total honesty and top tier rating from George, I like that 👍
Ahh decisions decisions.
So from four oddly defined categories George manages to make it seven categories in the final analysis.
That man has got Team Manager of the future (after a couple of World Championships of course) written all over him.
A very Wolff and Horner like ability not to answer the question put forward, but to fill the space with something you didn’t ask for in the first place.
Well done George, you’ll go far 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤓
That's generally my rankings as well - which is nice to see, because I've been trying to rank these (plus many more circuits form other series) overall for personal use for years now based on how they drive in ACC, AC, rF2 and sims in general. Great to see I judged especially the new (or new-old) ones well with Imola, Zandvoort and Jeddah getting in among the best ones for me as well. (Everyone sort of knows the "old guard" top tier is like a mantra - Spa, Silverstone, Monaco, Monza, Suzuka and Interlagos, no surprises there, with Monza a bit down as it's a bit simpler layout than the others.)
The ones I don't agree with are Hungaroring, Barcelona, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain. (And Red Bull Ring, but that was obviously a joke in the vid as well, otherwise it'd probably be a Great one) I drive GTs in the sims so that might influence things, but I think Hungaroring doesn't 'flow' nearly as well in a GT3 and is just frustrating, slow and simple apart from T4. Barcelona I think will surprise even F1 without the chicane when they go there later this year, and Abu Dhabi's layout changes really helped - less low-speed, more flat-out and medium-speed banked stuff - plus in a GT car, T2-3 become corners (high-speed) and the T9-10-11 braking zone is more challenging as well. Bahrain's T9-10 is also more difficult in a GT and T12 becomes a high-speed corner. All these three move up to Great in my book.
Hungaroring I think is one of the most underrated F1 tracks. Hard to compete when sandwiched between Silverstone and Spa on the calendar but is a short and pretty breathless circuit that always seems to produce close racing. You're right in GT cars though, they don't have the downforce for the very fast sections, and it is very slow round the last two corners.
Zandvoort is narrow and short but somehow feel this old school circuit must be simply awesome to drive , not on Suzuka , Spa level but it has become my secret favorite
Totally agree with Mexico City's track, the Autodromo isn't what it used to be, really hate the new layout. And this comes from someone who lives in Mexico City, the previous layout was a lot better, especially the Peraltada, the stadium really doesn't help.
Also agree with the A-1 Ring, fast, flowing, forgetful track.
He’s so polite and yet so savage
Oh man that last comment about RBR was pretty funny. Good one George.
The Red Bull roast was the best part! Hahahah
George Russel the type of guy that you rank as a top tier guy.
Who Is here After the Australia crash?
No way he said that at the end 😲
lol… that finish was funny 😄
george is after my heart sh*tting on vegas like that lol
They should get all the drivers to do this, then average the results, and then get rid of anything solid or Meh!
Monaco needs to go, terrible with these huge cars. Australia needs to go, boring track. Every street track should be gone, all terrible.
George woke up and chose violence against the Redbull ring lol
Lmao the last diss was funny af haha
That "meeehhh" was wonderful
"Red Bull Ring
Just for the name it has to go in meh, doesn't it?"
Dang, George chose violence
Loved the Redbull comment he made at the end!
I think there is a difference between circuits to drive, vs races for the fans.
Monaco for example, great test for the drives, we're lucky to see one overtake for the whole race.
I would like to talk to the guy that saw Vegas track layout and said "that is good enough for me"
correct position for RB ring, nice work george
Lol the ranking of red bull ring based on the name made me laugh out loud 😅 Great video!
Best bit was when he put Austria last just because of its name.
‘Just for the name its got to go in the meh column.’
Everyone liked that.
"Red bull ring. Just for the name it'll have to go into the meh section."
Good call George.
Man George was trying to save his job on that last one 💀💀💀
Haha I would like to hear his actual opinion on the Red Bull Ring though. The scenery there has to be the best of the season, surely, but I don't know about the track itself.
The cheeky dig at Red Bull at the end😂
I would love to see a ranking made by all the 2023 pilots, like a show where they have to agree with each other for the ranking 😂
😂😂😂 for the last one.. the red bull ring
4:24 I can no longer unsee that, thanks George
The Last one 😂
Mexico definitely needs a track reconfiguration
I really like this video of George Russell ranks the 2023 F1 tracks is a excellence thank you Mercedes.
I’m loving the George videos atm
The red bull dig was classic 😂
I’d watch drivers doing track tier lists all day
George, i love you for the last one
Red Bull ring is a solid circuit and George knows it.
I do have to say, F1 drivers are really amazing, because Russel, was rating these circuits and knowing what they were instantly without even knowing the name.
Tbh pretty much every guy knows the tracks just by the layouts who played F1 games previously 😅
0:36 2021 imola vibes coming in my head bottas and russel
Uff... George burning bridges with Red Bull. You never know the future mate. 😂
I’ve driven Suzuka on the simulator it’s definitely a great track
i don't know what to say for the last one 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
1:53
Checo will remember that
Amazing how he recognises the tracks from the lay outs
Most F1 fans do bro
You don’t?
lol i can do that just by watchin f1
I can dream every f1 circuit
Its not special
Kind of gets paid the big bucks for knowing exactly that !
That last one upset people forsure but I’m all about it 😂
the instant "meh" for austria is top notch comedy
My Personal (SIM racer here):
TOP TIER: Spa, Suzuka, Silverstone, Interlagos
GREAT: Monza, Imola, Red Bull Ring, Austin, Abu Dhabi
SOLID: Bahrain, Melbourne, Shanghai, Miami, Monaco, Montreal, Barcelona, Zandvoort, Vegas, Losail
MEH: Jeddah, Budapest, Baku, Singapore, Mexico City
That face of George in the thumbnail is another one for the world of F1 memes lol
George really did the RBR dirty 💀
😂😂😂loved the last part. Georgeeeee
I agree a lot with him there. Great to see a real racer having the same racing brain as you. Here's my arrangement (very similar to his):
Top: Spa, Suzuka, Imola, Interlagos, Hungaroring, Monaco, Silverstone, Monza
Great: Zandvoort, Jeddah, Catalunya, Albert Park, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Bahrain, COTA, Red Bull Ring
Solid: Yas Marina, Marina Bay, Losail
Meh: Mexico, Miami, Baku, Las Vegas
Liked how he finished with RedBull Ring!
