Hey Steve, I've found that many business owners are hesitant to give me their business because im not a CPA. I think just going to try and take the exams so I can get over that hurrdle

Hi Paul, that would be understandable if they're looking for tax prep. But for bookkeeping, it's not common from my experience. CPAs are more expensive and people know that. And it doesn't take a CPA to do bookkeeping.

What’s the highest amount you charge for a client? I’d prefer to have a business that prices higher so I have less clients than to charge less and many more clients

There are benefits to having more client that you charge less for. I don't recommend having too many eggs in one basket. If you lose a big client, you feel it financially. If you lose a small client, you don't feel it at all financially.
