Also where can I buy pretty affordable furniture like Target or Marshall type. Or also the higher quality. Love the hard work you put into your channel btw the way!
Nicccce. I think I'm learning more about the culture and the place itself from you than I ever have at any other time in my life. Thanks for being able to explain everything so that everyone can understand and relate. Happy Shopping
Nori quiero conocerte el año que viene cuando valla a Rd. I want to know more about buying an apartment in SD. And renting out my home in the USA and possibly living in DR to try it out for a year. I need your guidance. I’ll treat you to lunch 🥗 and some drinks 🍹 ❤❤❤❤
I was in Puerto plata a few weeks ago; but had so much to do it would have been impossible to go to Santo Domingo. Hopefully on my next trip I will get the opportunity to visit Santo Dominican. Seems like a very interesting city. Thanks for the video Norberis. Great as usual.
Hi Noberis, In your opinion, renting an Airbnb in the Gazcue area versus the area of Calle Central Bloque 26, (Oeste of SD) for a week stay in Santo Domingo, which area is safer, easier to get around (restaurants within walking distance) and also that helps you know the people and the neighborhood a little bit? We are planning to move to the D.R. In a year or so and are interested in living in SD or Santiago. Thanks in advance for your help!
I don't know that area Calle Central Bloque but Santo Domingo Oeste is a typically Dominican area. Me personally I like Gazcue. Gazcue is safe not saying the other area isnt I just don't know it well. Also Gazcue has a lot of American restaurants and amenities. It's close to the Malecon. It's probably going to be more pricey in Gazcue vs SD Oeste.
If I wanted to move over there without my things, is there like a Walmart like place I can go to and get my pots, pans, mop? Or will I be able to find it at most supermercados. I'm coming from u.s territory to your east
Norberis, If somebody comes to the DR to live, but they make their money in America, do they have to pay taxes? Is it a lot? How hard is it to get residency or citizenship in the DR?
You don't have to pay taxes here but you may have to pay in the States. Not sure. It's not hard to residency here but there are certain requirements. I recommend speaking to a lawyer.
I quite enjoyed Andres Carne! Ever tried Adrian Tropical? I went to two (not sure if there are more out in Santo Domingo); one on the malecón. I can’t remember the road where the other one is but it wasn’t on the water front. Avenida George Washington? Anyway, the food was decent. I liked it.
Im going to DR in septiembre .. and im scared ppl say i won't be able to get on the plane back to united states if i'm not vaccinated... i thought you just needed proof that you got negative results?
You have to show proof of a negative test to the airline or you CANNOT board. I was there in June. You do not want a positive there otherwise you will have to wait it out. Scary!
Santo Domingo are becoming master builders. Did you know, KFC got his start cooking his fried chicken at a gas station after being fired from other jobs he held. He couldn't keep up with customer demands so he leased his secret recipe to other restaurants with the promise to keep the recipe a secret and a percentage of the monthly gross.
Thank you for the tour very informative, I always enjoy your videos ❤
Thank you❤️
Beautiful and seems peaceful ✌
Yes, in certain areas you can find this.

Nice Video. Are you going to Los Praditos next which is next to Los prados

You will have a great time.

They Have America Airline
Some parts of the Capital is similar to America, always feel so to me I last visited three weeks ago stayed in Zona Colonial.
Yes, parts of Santo Domingo is pretty mordernized.

@@theonenonly122 I can recommend this law office Manon y Asociados (829) 726-8630
Hii. Is Los Prados middle upper class or low?
Middle to middle upper class. It's not a low class neighborhood. However, certain areas of Los Prados can border a lower class neighborhood.
@@NorberisR thank you so much for your answer!!!!

Yes, Adrian Tropical is a staple here in DR. Have been there many times. Its really good.
Show them Los Alcarrizos
That's area is on my list.
Im going to DR in septiembre .. and im scared ppl say i won't be able to get on the plane back to united states if i'm not vaccinated... i thought you just needed proof that you got negative results?
You do have to take a Covid test prior to returning back to the US.
@@NorberisR thank you so much. I thought they were forcing ppl to take the vaccine in order to get on the plane ride back. Love your videos!
@@Dvincible19 I haven't heard of them forcing vaccines, but I recommend checking with the airline that you fly to be sure.
