I love this style of tutorial. Prioritizing small steps that you can see real progress on immediately and take your time as needed. I spent like 3 whole days on just training my muscle memory for that hihat pattern because I realized I couldn't play 1-34 hat while focusing on the kick drum. Wonderful teaching style

Max i love this beat and i learned to play it in a loop by 85 BPM, except the ghost notes on the snare 😊 It tooks me 6 days til now! Tomorrow i will continue on this and add the ghost notes on the snare! You have a very deep feel to play, i would love to see what kind of fills you use to make it dynamicly! I dont mean any complicated 1 bar or two bar fills, i mean... You know to get sometimes out of the loop and back in. Respect Max!

I have an update. After 10 days I can now play the groove in a fairly rough manor at a very low tempo. Since I started 1 year ago, this is the most challenging groove I have tried to learn. I love it though 😊

This is just great, plus a really good breakdown of the pattern - easy pattern but getting them ghost notes in with the hat part, that is the key part of making it real and the hard bit. Thank you Sir 👍
