The true sign of a great drumming teacher is his unbreakable willingness to contort his neck into all kinds of inhuman angles, to face the camera and address his audience properly. Legend.

I didn't know Max's voice was as smooth as his playing damn, relaxing. haha

Finally yesterday, after a year of on and off revisiting this lick, I could smoothly integrate it in a (medium tempo) groove! It has it all: control of accents and ghost notes, moving around the kit (and then control the ghost notes) and keeping the flow in a groove. It works in purple haze ;) and also combines nicely with the six stroke roll, para diddle diddle (or diddle para diddle, first diddle on hats) and even "Bonham triplets". Thank you Max! Now studying your "improve your groove" mini course.

Great playing, Max. Such a nice, simple little lick that when played up to speed sounds amazing. Wasn't expecting something so simple to turn into such a cool lick! Thanks, Max...
