The EVO is one of the best all around performance cars ever built. Its pretty affordable. It has S-AWC all wheel drive that rivals the GTR on tarmac (plus snow and gravel modes), accelerating through apexes etc. And it even has 4 doors as well as a trunk that's large enough to put large items in. I cant understand why people even consider a high dollar Audi, BMW, Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari etc, when you can just throw down like $ 10-15k towards mods and stomp damn near anything on the road today. And without the high maintenance prices of those high priced cars ($200k+) with golden plated ash trays. I guess people care more about status than what makes sense! lol In my opinion the EVO will almost always be the better choice. Just my two cents. ;)
Because those cars have something the Evo lacks, comfort. Don't get me wrong, I love the Evo, but it's a pretty spartan car made for hardcore driving (I actually love that about it). There are people who don't need a car that can throw flames from the exhaust or that can be heard from a mile away. They'd much rather have a car that is fast, but also comfortable, soft suspensions and many gadgets. Another thing, while the Evo is one of the best performance cars that can be bought for its price, if you have more, then why not spend on a better car. There are many other great cars out there. All I'm saying is that the Evo, while a great car (also my favorite), is far from perfect. But you know what, it doesn't matter much because we love it the way it is.
Because not everyone wants JDM cars. We all have different tastes and we shouldn't be judging others for what type of car we like. Unless you camber your car too much, then you don't deserve to drive.
EVO's are one of the best sports cars to come out of Japan in recent times and probably one of the best JDM cars next to the GTR. The fact that a 4 cyle whooped a V12 shows high engineering feats and why JDM cars rule!
Donavan Glasser I'm aware of that, but it proves how crazy modded a 4 cycle can get without breaking a part and how much power you can squeeze out of them. That's amazing in itself.

You can tell who's really into cars on here. Most people think Lamborghini they think"omg sooo fast" when really for the money they aren't all that fast! They are more just art then anything. A $40,000 Evo will keep up with a $400,000 Lamborghini around a track. Its been proven by experienced drivers. to me 650hp out of a 2.0L engine is way more impressive then 800hp from a v12 or v8.

Even then most all previous mustang gt's barely had over 300hp out of a friggin v8. Thank god ford finally got its shit together and figured out what engineering is. The 2015 mustang is amazing so its the fiesta st, forcus st and tarus sho.
don't get me wrong, Evos and GTR's are great cars, but they cannot be compared to Lambos, Ferraris or Bugattis. There's a reason why they are so expensive. They are built and tested on measure and only produced in small numbers.
