4 years later... I still come back to watch this. This was a magic moment, everything about this performance was just right. I know Sarah took time off to start a family, and I am still waiting for her to come back. I hope she is keeping that golden voice in good shape.

Sarah Lloyde is a Superstar Singer. Her range, inflicting of the lyrics, breath, power of her voice are Amazing. The other female singers are all Very Talented in their own right, but Sarah is so Powerful and smooth she stands out. Their are only a hand full of singers that can sing this song with Chaka Khan's Talent. Sarah is in that class of singer! Thank You 😊🙂

Whoever the young woman fronting this band is, I take my hat off. This is one of the biggest power disco tracks ever, and she didn't shy away from hitting the big notes with a lot of volume.

She killed it!! At first I was, eh, it's not going to do the original justice. Chakas voice is a powerhouse to reckon with. Impossible.... WHOA!! Chaka would've been joining her if she was there. This girl gave it her all and she nailed it. Big high 5!!

I have to say that besides the late Whitney Houston that sang this song Chaka Kahn came out with this song in 1978. a song written by Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson and was an incredible-sounding song sung by Chaka Khan. And I personally never heard this group and Sarah Lloyde singing this song as incredibly sung as by her. As I was 12 years old when it came out. An incredible voice she has!
I find myself hitting the repeat button often. God gave Sarah an amazing voice!!!! The HSCC is my new favorite band. Thanks for helping us through these times and singing the songs of my youth.

As a guy in his 50s I grew up on this track. Didn’t think it could be improved. Yours is the version I go to every time. Bravo your talent is astounding.

Naturally, I said I love that f*** band. The lead singer, she had a golden voice, looks like da next big thing, the harmony vocals are perfect and classy with a special mention to Mr Bass who sang ooh ooh right in tune, the band is in the pocket, my feet start to move and I notice the rhythm perfect guitarist who plays so good without even tapping his feet!

Greetings from Ocean City , Maryland . I just came across HSCC channel for the first time 3 days ago and I did not leave . I found myself watching a Boz Scaggs song at 1am . No problem at all . I normally am in bed by 10pm and am up at 4am . So needless to say I am now having my much needed first cup of coffee and listening to some great tunes in the morning being preformed by a diversified group of very talented musicians and singers !!!

On my feet. Great performance all around, but, man, Sarah's vocal chops and style, let alone the fullness of tone in her voice, took it through the stratosphere.

They can all take turn to lead. These three are the top of the group. Love Melissa but Pina suits some songs perfectly as well. Sarah is so soulful and powerful.
Few things make me smile these days... Stopped in to get a smile on with this wonderful recording... Yes, the lead singer is awesome, and the back-ups are so right on. And everyone is projecting such a wonderful time...

Even the leadsinger is stunning beautiful, has a great voice and is dressed in red, the backgroundsingers (especially the taller one on the right) almost stole the show. A really great performance of the whole band. Wow!!!

Ladies backing here, you hit it and harmonize beautifully! Kudos. Love your modest dancing too. Your feeling it but you don't take it away from Sarah or the band. Sarah, you are just amazing. You hit it so well that indeed Chaka and Whitney would be proud. Throw in the moves and groove you (and all!) are feeling plus your absolutely beautiful smile and, it's such a treat to listen and watch this video. So glad I stumbled on HSCC and this one (so far is a fave). Thank you for the incredible treat that this is. You're all amazing and, we're loving it here in Western New York!

Trying to fill Chaka Kahn shoes is near impossible, you basically need someone from another planet, congratulations for stepping up to the challenge, you sounded amazing.

Omg these girls literally don’t even touch either one of those versions. But there ok. Not good, not bad. Very nightclub band, idk the singing to me is very bland. But they did a great job and there all beautiful, looked like they were having fun and that’s all that matters. Also I don’t know if it’s just me but this kinda sounds very country to me idk...

This is my favourite performance by HSCC and Sarah Lloyds vocal performance in fantastic. Our son here is Scotland has been apart from his girlfriend in Australia for 18 months now due to the covid travel ban, he hopes to travel to be with her this summer. My wife and i will visit Australia sometime after that and we intend to seek out this wonderfully talented band to see them play live if possible.

oh my that woman simply gives me goose bumps..that voice and so dam radiant..so smooth...woooo...as someone who can appreciate this song and the memories of those years.this group just nail it every time..and i could go on for days about that beautiful woman..but i want to say here the percussion section of this group..all of you guys..seen a few of you now..man..mad respect to you guys..because most of the music you guys are doing has that element and it is so important that it be right and you guys are awesome..percussion was the backbone of so many hits. most amazing percussion section i ever heard was when i got to see earth wind and fire when i was a young man..those guys were just amazing and so are you guys.

the lead singer in the middle is awesome, the combination with the two women on the right and left is unbeatable. chaka has to go green with envy ... Very, very seldom heard a voice like the one from the middle, which is still so saddle-proof. Incredible and just nice to hear. For me, this combination of singers is the best that HSCC has to offer.
