I'm a bassist of 45 years.
I was going to comment how good the bassist is- great touch, great feel, but to single him out would be a crime as there isn't a weak spot anywhere in this band.

What I love about this absolutely perfect band is all the covers they do.

Donna Summer grew in Dorchester MA, a neighborhood in Boston. She learned to sing in church. She was a phenomenal singer and performer. RIP. Taken way too soon

@@thedudenot1031 I play bass. It's okay to say it's easy when you hide behind a keyboard. It's not about the number of chords. It is about getting everything to groove together correctly and get the right feel and sound. There is a reason why few bands you see in local clubs and bars play this kind of music and it ain't because people don't want to hear it - simply, it's because they stick to playing blues standards which are easy peasy.
These 3 ladies are awesome but it also shows how extremely gifted Donna Summer was! Rest in Peace Miss Donna Summer.

No disrespect to any current member of HSCC, but this group--Sarah, Nikki and Darren included, in a basement no less--represents for me the Pinnacle of HSCCs work. The band has evolved and is first class in every way. But give me these bad girls all day.
This is a brilliant version. I think that the ladies are enjoying themselves so much it really shines through in their performance. Well done!

I'm almost 60 and these lovely ladies were not around when this song was released in the '70s by Donna Summer, but they do both a great job on the vocals and 100% in visual very nice for an old man like me. & the Band 10 out of 10 great musos.

They're all "feeling it" - GREAT performance.
Have watched and listened to this great performance many, many times and have commented previously, but, I did want to compliment the Ladies on their fantastic stage presence! Nikki in particular looks right at you in the camera and makes one feel she is singing directly to you! Just pulls you into the performance. This is really evident in the HSCC production of ONJ’s “Magic” wherein Nikki’s Daughter Jaylena does the same thing looking directly at you through the camera! I’ll swear that when Nikki and Jaylena look right at you and smile, you find yourself smiling right back at them!! Again, great performance by great performers!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
