One Greatest showman Band Chic Not 😊😅😮❤ Disco dance party Band 🎭🤔🎨🎨🎹🪘🌄 classic orchestra, Funk,Rock & Rolling, Rhymes & Blue,Dazz , Jazzy Dazzle Modern voice singer band .
Nile, I remember you following me on my skate instagram page and I bragged about it til this day! Nile thinks im cool! But Nile, you are THEE coolest cat around!! I appreciate just who you are, all that you have been through, and the journey you have taken us through with your genius works! Im 32 years old and remembering my dad playing Sao Paulo when I was a child and feeling like I was going to cry. I now make sure my kids know all your music! Thank you thank you maestro. Still in the game after all these years, you are timeless.
This is one of those sets where you can just tell from the first note that every single one of these people is absolutely oozing with talent. Which happens on tiny desk a lot lol. But here especially.
When you are responsible for the greatest hits of David Bowie, Duran Duran, Madonna, Sister Sledge, Diana Ross, Sheila B. Devotion, Daft Punk, etc. and off course your own band Chic, you can say that you are one of the greatest.
Give that man his flowers. He literally doesn't get enough props. This man helped write the soundtrack to our childhoods if not our lives. Niles is definitely in the Pantheon.👊🏿💜
I googled Nile Rodgers and it looks like the whole music industry relied on this mans talent for decades. To this day! His achievements completely overwhelming to look at.
Had to pause and quickly go rewatch the scene in Coming to America …. Man, it was so funny, and such an amazing cast. Russell did a superb job singing it - and what a treat for Nile as it was a complete surprise
He came. He saw an opportunity. He conquered. Now we're all here to rewind his greatness. Thank you, Nile, for allowing Russell Graham to finish. I didn't know I needed that.
Much love to you. Hang in there. I pray that you have support to get through this temporary challenge. I pray strength, peace and joy come to you at this moment. Blessings 🙏
I was VERY unprepared for this. I'm crying and smiling since the start, this is just amazing. How lucky we are for sharing this place and time with mr. Niles Rodgers
I needed to reply. Thank you so much for the love. I'm sitting in the best seat in the world behind Nile Rodgers and my Chic family. What you're seeing is the same love that we have off stage as well. We ARE Family. And, thank you again for the love.
This band is so tight that they can get totally loose. They look as if they are just having a party and getting down, but the level of musicianship and stagecraft here is off the charts. Style and class.
@karldewet5393 ummmmmmmm......this lineup is relatively new. 45 years? Only Nile R remains from the 70s origins of Chic But this current is certainly a stellar group of musicians and singers
We don't have a single idea how lucky we are to have Mr. Nile Rodgers alive!!! A living legend. This edition of tiny desk is on my top favorite. God is good to me for able to listen and watch this. I cried all thru the video for joy 🙏🙌🙌🙌🙌
Tiny Desk has amazing sound engineers. ALL of their concerts sound incredible. But this one… God, I remember Chic from my early teens. I swear I remember seeing them in concert and was blown away. This is such a treat to enjoy this new show.
It is amaz8ng how good they sound. Along with comments of great sound engineers at Tiny Desk and sound8ng as good as the original recordings... There is an incredible amount of rehears8ng and s9 e really intricate arrangements that are not on the original recordings. Nile and Chic are masterful!
Yeah, however it’s difficult because man… there is so much awesome music. But certainly this is one of the best ever. Really enjoyable every second. Their energy puts a smile on my face. Others that imho should be in the top charts of tiny desk include Sting & Shaggy, Gregory Porter, Anderson .Paak, Mac Miller, Peter Frampton, Dua Lipa, The war on drugs, The Cranberries. Yeah, I like quite different music. I don’t say this to get exposure but to give credit to all these amazing musicians. Others might want to check out these and other awesome tiny desk concerts. Really a cool format.
Those high notes by Russell Graham made me pause the video and reflect on my life for a moment. That was one of the most insane and pleasant surprises I've ever had the pleasure to experience. What a voice... Kimberly and Audrey already had me very emotional, then that man comes and blows me out of the water.
I met Nile once on a redeye from Burbank to JFK. I was a flight attendant at the time, paying the bills while beginning my career as a jazz guitarist. I was practicing on the jump seat with a nylon string guitar while most of the plane slept. Nile came by to use the bathroom and heard me practicing a complicated John Coltrane song. We talked for a little bit, and then he picked up my guitar and played some of the baddest jazz guitar on the same tune. I was not expecting that from the guitar player from CHIC!
That's an awesome story TY for sharing. Nile Rodgers is so much more than the guitarist from Chic though! 1 of the best music producers on the planet!!! What a legend!!!
It blew my mind learning that he wrote so many of the songs I enjoyed since I was a child. His songs were so prevalent everywhere that I never stopped to think who actually wrote those songs. It’s insane how his fingerprints are all over American pop culture, even today. Who else can say that they collaborated with Diana Ross, David Bowie, AND Pharrell? What an absolute giant. Who hasn’t listened to We are Family and Get Lucky? And yet, I had no idea who he was until recently!
I think the drummer was in on this gag (you can see him nod after Russell Graham starts playing keyboard at 11:29, as if they had coordinated this in advance), but it appears to have been a genuine surprise to Nile Rodgers and everyone else in the band.
@mgeeinc.4270 It's from Soul Glow commercial from the 1988 Coming to America movie. Nile Rogers worked on the soundtrack and wrote that song. The commercial is on RUclips
@mgeeinc.4270it was a fake commercial jingle from the movie Coming to America that Niles wrote all the music to. The band probably planned to surprise him with it sometime during the performance and they picked the perfect time. Niles’ reaction was genuine. 😂
Lol. Tiny Desk has been going on since 2008. It became big because they added it to RUclips. I used to listen to it from their blog and Sunday night broadcast on the radio
So glad that legends like Nile Rodgers are getting their flowers while they’re still with us. He was THAT guy in the 70’s and 80’s and produced and wrote a lot of hits for major r&b and pop acts. Bravo tiny desk!!!
Mr. Rodgers is one of the best guitarists ever. It's a shame he doesn't get as much attention as Hendrix, Van Halen, etc. Truly a gem in the music industry and beyond.
Nile Rodgers is what we call a ''musician's musician''. Pratically unknown by the general public, but recognized by musicians as one of the greatest ever.
Funk is in the house today! Tiny Desk, you've outdone yourself. Nile Rodgers, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee! This is my favorite Tiny Desk performance. Thank you to Mr Rodgers and CHIC. You all made me so happy!
My dad was a roadie back in the 70s-80s in Oakland, CA. One night, EWF had a show in San Francisco the same night as Chic in Oakland. I believe Chic was still rather new on the scene, EWF had a large pull. My dad said they set up everything at the Oakland Coliseum (mind you, this is back in the day where you went to the box office to buy tickets so artists didn't really know how to gauge if a show was sold out) and only about 10 people showed up! They invited the staff to sit in the audience to watch and my dad said it was top three one of the best shows he's ever seen in his LIFE! I met Jerry Barnes backstage (the bass player in this video) and told him this story. His eyes were big and he belted laughing because apparently Nile tells this story to EVERYONE and no one ever believes him! Wish I got to tell Nile this story myself! Shoutout to the Maestro himself!!!
This is seriously one of the most high intensity Tiny Desks ever. Classic sounds with some serious bass licks running underneath. Regardless of what we rockers thought of the disco era, NIle has written and composed some of the greatest dance and party songs of all time. Congrats to all and enjoy 'cause the groove is in the house.
The "Soul Glow" took me out. I sometimes will randomly burst out singing it too!!! 😂😂😂 That was a random accessed memory. I love Russell!!! This was an amazing concert! Nile Rodgers is iconic and RIP Bernard Edwards. They gave us some legendary tunes that will keep the world dancing for years to come.
Thanks Mr Rogers for all the hard work that you’ve put in your whole life . I’m hoping that you will get every recognition that you deserve in this life .
Bernard Edwards bass lines and style of bass playing was so smooth. I miss that original sound. Don't get me wrong, the new Chic band style sounds great too!
@robertjones447 I agree! You don't ever hear much talk about Michael Wiley (RIP). I went to Disney World Orlando to see the Dazz Band back in the 80's and was right up front of Michael Wiley. I was hoping he was going to use his MM Sabre or Stingray Bass, but he played a G&L L 2000 Bass with the gold strings, the sound was unbelievable!
Bernard will forever be my favorite bass player and let’s not forget TONY THOMPSON! He was hands down the baddest drummer that ever lived. He changed the sound of music, he brought sounds that were powerful and I haven’t heard anyone like him since. He played with the band Power Station..go figure..
Chic, Glastonbury 2017, Sunday. The day was grey and overcast when Chic took to the stage, as they started the sun came out. 150,000 people dancing to the best, most joyous songs ever written. Happiness peaked for me in that 1hr30. This man and these musicians are true purveyors of happiness. Genius.
This is the BEST EVER tiny Desk Concert...............Im just speechless about this endless talented musicians .......God Bless you ALL! Alohas from Maui!
This is up there with the best Tiny Desk concerts. Not only is Nile Rodgers special, but each member in his band are like leaders, down to the keyboardists, saxophone and then the drummer sings lead really? The bassist is off the charts. Great vocals across the board. They don't even need instruments.

I'm speechless, the talent in that room is off the charts
No doubt

this man is 71 years old rocking out like hes in his 50s. you love to see it. cherish him while hes here folks!!!!! living legend
Time to bring it back, show the youth, this is music, this is a band; no backing tracks, pure talent.
Exactly.
I was *just* thinking 'how long can this dude stay so relevant?!
I’m 71 too! I’m rocking to the beat of his guitar 🎸!!😊💃🏽
and he roller skates with us! He is truly young at heart and that's what keeps him so youthful! Yet, full of wisdom!
Who else rewinded his part 20 times 😂
It really shined through YEAH
I will not confirm nor deny
It’s so dang good better then the original I thought 😂
Maybe…….😂
It's oh so silky smooth.
I'm here for Soul Glow! 11:20
I would like him to sing the whole track. Very cool
I just lost my mind a little bit with that😂😂😂😂 it felt oh so silky smooth.
Yeah
We're all here for that silky smooth soul glo.
That was the NUTS😂😂😂
That Soul-Glo deal was freaking INCREDIBLE!!!
It was awesome !
"that boy good!"
11:20 was amazing
Bass player was bringing the heat
11:36 is when the Soul Glo part starts. You're welcome.
The keyboardist who sang Soul Glo is one talented dude. The whole band and this set were terrific too.
This is one of those sets where you can just tell from the first note that every single one of these people is absolutely oozing with talent. Which happens on tiny desk a lot lol. But here especially.
That's Rich Hilton playing keyboards, an awesome talent!
I love how he incoroporated other Daft Punk songs into his "Get Lucky" vocals
Russell Graham on keyboards and vocals @no_trump47
It's Russell Graham on keys with the huge lungs!
I came for the Soul Glo part but I stayed for the rest!! What a fantastic performance!
Especially right after he talked about his collaboration with the robots, one of my favorite EDM groups. This was gold
I went looking for this, and found it. My god, was that amazing 👏
Absolutely, same here! I wanted to see Soul Glo but was treated to a great full performance throughout.
Same. This was such a great performance!
Oh so silky smooth…
When you are responsible for the greatest hits of David Bowie, Duran Duran, Madonna, Sister Sledge, Diana Ross, Sheila B. Devotion, Daft Punk, etc. and off course your own band Chic, you can say that you are one of the greatest.
No doubt
Facts!
For Shure 👌👌👌👌👌
Beyond a living legend! He builds his own legends! Such an insane figure! 🙌🔥 Hope the crowd felt how powerful that performance was.
Absolutely a brilliant man
Give that man his flowers. He literally doesn't get enough props. This man helped write the soundtrack to our childhoods if not our lives. Niles is definitely in the Pantheon.👊🏿💜
💯
He worked w Bowie on: Let’s Dance.
Come on now…. great sounds
He’s one of the greatest living guitarists.
Yet he is not in the Rock n' Roll hall of fame. A huge Travisty
@scottgass6216 😲🎯
I googled Nile Rodgers and it looks like the whole music industry relied on this mans talent for decades. To this day! His achievements completely overwhelming to look at.
He’s one of the most prolific composers and producers in the US. An absolute legend in the industry.
Not just America, in the world 💯
including Bowie!!!
I already knew without looking it up. He wrote and played around the industry as well as leading Chic.
@roguebot13let's dance!
The female vocalists were INCREDIBLE 👏👏👏
Unbelievable!
Amazing
Is there anyone of those 9 that is not?
The keyboardist busting out the Soul-Glo theme was incredible.
I was 🤣🤣🤣. All I could picture is the commercial for Soul Glo from Coming To America.
that boy good
@elcashogood as in teribble 😂😂😂
After he was done, i automatically, in a low voice said, SOUL GLOOOO.😅😅😅
Had to pause and quickly go rewatch the scene in Coming to America …. Man, it was so funny, and such an amazing cast.
Russell did a superb job singing it - and what a treat for Nile as it was a complete surprise
Did anybody else have a huge smile on their face throughout this entire concert???? ❤😁
Yes, meeeee 🤩🤩🤩
Oh yeah.
Me too. Can't help it.
Sure!!!!
Listening again 😊😊😊💯💯💯
Tiny Desk sound engineers deserve an award.
Indeed 💯
my first thought was that

think i heard somewhere the artists do it themselves but idk
Yeah, great job... but I bet these folks make it relatively easy.
He came. He saw an opportunity. He conquered. Now we're all here to rewind his greatness. Thank you, Nile, for allowing Russell Graham to finish. I didn't know I needed that.

100%
Had no idea Nile Rodgers wrote the soundtrack to Coming to America. Makes a lot more sense to me now.
*Soul Glo*
Yes to this
I watched that part about 5 times it’s both awesome and hilarious 😂😂
That man that performed Soul Glo brought back a wonderful time in life and really shined on that song.
His name is Russell Graham
David Bowie hired Nile for some of his funkiest songs during the 80s and 90s. Nile is an absolute genius of funk.
You've been watching too much Frasier

This band is so tight that they can get totally loose. They look as if they are just having a party and getting down, but the level of musicianship and stagecraft here is off the charts. Style and class.
Do anything with the same people for more than 45 years and it becomes this easy. How amazing!!!
Yeah… they pretty much slayed it.
💯 Amazing performance. 🔥 Left me Speechless. 🔥
@karldewet5393 ummmmmmmm......this lineup is relatively new. 45 years? Only Nile R remains from the 70s origins of Chic

My dad ran into him in Australia just a couple days ago. "Wouldn't know he's a superstar". Dude is a legend but humble as ever.
@iVTECInsideI could see that
How do they sound THIS amazing live?!?!? Incredible, legendary.
I saw them live and can vouch that it sounds the same as the recording, it’s that impeccably brilliant
Yes they sound so accurate it looks like not a live concert …. superb audio set up !! indeed
Tiny Desk has amazing sound engineers. ALL of their concerts sound incredible. But this one… God, I remember Chic from my early teens. I swear I remember seeing them in concert and was blown away. This is such a treat to enjoy this new show.
Nothing tiny about this performance. HUGE, righteous sound. C'mon now!

Probably the best Tiny Desk ever. Incredible. This sets the bar so high.
Yeah, however it’s difficult because man… there is so much awesome music. But certainly this is one of the best ever. Really enjoyable every second. Their energy puts a smile on my face.
Others that imho should be in the top charts of tiny desk include Sting & Shaggy, Gregory Porter, Anderson .Paak, Mac Miller, Peter Frampton, Dua Lipa, The war on drugs, The Cranberries. its the best
@slennie Mac Miller. Though maybe that wasn't a concert, more of a communing with life and the after.
Those high notes by Russell Graham made me pause the video and reflect on my life for a moment. That was one of the most insane and pleasant surprises I've ever had the pleasure to experience. What a voice... Kimberly and Audrey already had me very emotional, then that man comes and blows me out of the water.
Yeah it seemed other worldly. Like he was an instrument, not just singing but the actual medium for something from another world.

That blonde haired womans voice is phenomenal.
This is probably the best Tiny Desk concert EVER. They sounded impeccable, sound engineer did an outstanding job!
I agree! This is the tightest, funkiest set I’ve ever seen on ‘Tiny Desk!’ Nile Rodgers & CHIC⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Check out the Babyface one and the Charlie Wilson ones from earlier this year if you like this one.
Yessss ✨️👏👏
Yes sound was unbelievably good, kudos to the talented engineer
Josh always kills it!
Before the days of phone camera selfies?
Did he wash his hands first?
That's an awesome story TY for sharing. Nile Rodgers is so much more than the guitarist from Chic though! 1 of the best music producers on the planet!!! What a legend!!!
Goosebumps throughout. How awesome would it be to see the legendary Nile Rogers and CHIC live. Thank you, Tiny Desk!
Other surprisingly good jazz players: Kool and the Gang!
I am embarrassed I only found out who Nile Rodgers is today. What a talent!
same here
I'm embarrassed these two only found out who Nile Rodgers is today.
Aqui ya somos 5 😮😮😮
Don’t be embarrassed, be happy you finally found out
Soul glo! for those of us who love that movie this was the coolest moment of this tiny desk
The best part to me is that the whole band is having FUN while playing!!!
True.
the are is nice to look at it
🎉
I’m only 27, but my inner OG appreciated this. That sneak in of “Soul Glo” was hilarious. 🤣👏
Continued blessings to Niles & CHIC. 🙏
I approve!
That sneak-in of Seoul Glow is pretty funny too...
Inner OG lol
27 aint young bro you’re late to the party! I been appreciating CHIC since I was 16 and I’m a few years older than you
I think the drummer was in on this gag (you can see him nod after Russell Graham starts playing keyboard at 11:29, as if they had coordinated this in advance), but it appears to have been a genuine surprise to Nile Rodgers and everyone else in the band.
Everyone was fire!! The singers were phenomenal! Thank you Kimberly and Audrey!
Audrey is fine
@gobirds4362 Both are ..lol
@buttyscott1 Both fantastic singers, both gorgeous, class and beauty.
@gobirds4362She is beautiful.
Thank you Tiny Desk for inviting someone that has touched so many musicians and so many people.
My man hit that "Soul Glow" with precision!! I'm dead 💀😭🤩
was not prepared for that voice to come out of him 🤣🤣😂
I still come back for a hit of soul glo every now and then
@devildee9286I know! I had to side 👀 to make sure it wasn’t a track playing 🤣🤣
100% The most unbelievable part of this. Made me double/triple/quadruple take 😂
he was into it too, not just playin the voice, dude was dreaming of his old curls lol.
You learn so much history online. This man wrote all these hits and I never new it. Thank you, Mr. Nile Rodgers.
Same!!!! Lesson learned. Mad respect 🫡
Really I have always been a fan of his
And this is only a fraction of them.
Them SISTAS ARE SANGIN!! Rarely hear any strong voices like that anymore in the industry ❤
What are you on about?
Kimberly Davis is a beast on vocals
Plenty of strong voices ..but they blast your ears off in an egotistical unmusical way .
Excuse me ma'am, you sang your face off and it fell on the floor 😮❤
LOL the most replayed moment: 11:27
Great singers and musicians. Great stories. HOF talent. But that moment is the most replayed.
I'm outta here!!!! 😂😂😂 I had to skip just to see. That was priceless
It was so awesome!
What song is it ? Or is he just improvising 🤣
What Tiny Desk has been able to record and accomplish in just a few years is genuinely amazing
Lol. Tiny Desk has been going on since 2008. It became big because they added it to RUclips. I used to listen to it from their blog and Sunday night broadcast on the radio
@hanaj I’m proud of you

@Troock14drop that quincy jones tiny desk concert bro
Surely one of em, would like to mention Herbie Hancock as well up there…
Roller skating to these tunes is a joy.
Unlike other great artist Nile performed only gigantic hits because almost all of his songs are gigantic hits. What a Legend!
it's the only thing Nile knows to make!!! he's genius!
Sound engineer of Tiny Desk is an angel ❤
Yes! I’m listening it at a harman/kardon… 👌🏻 perfect
Shout out to the man Josh Rogosin !
Agree, getting this sound is perfection.
God bless him
Amen. All those instruments in that tiny room. Perfection.
So glad that legends like Nile Rodgers are getting their flowers while they’re still with us. He was THAT guy in the 70’s and 80’s and produced and wrote a lot of hits for major r&b and pop acts. Bravo tiny desk!!!
Here's the thing...he's STILL doing it with current acts.
And Madonna, Duran Duran etc. This man is GOLD. Beyond amazing.✌️✨️
This makes my life better!
Mr. Rodgers is one of the best guitarists ever. It's a shame he doesn't get as much attention as Hendrix, Van Halen, etc. Truly a gem in the music industry and beyond.
He makes me think of my dad playing guitar. I miss his physical presence but know he's always around. Love you Dad!!
FACTS!!
Nile Rodgers is what we call a ''musician's musician''. Pratically unknown by the general public, but recognized by musicians as one of the greatest ever.
absolute definition of less is more. such a depth of knowledge too dude knows how to write
Aw stop he gets enough quit comparing
What real musicians sound like. No pre-recorded, No Producer tricks. Straight and uncut talent. 🔊🎶🎵🎸🎹(Harlem is listening 👂🏾 🎧)
Before pro tools there were pros, now get off my front lawn!

Every chance I get, I show my kids these amazing performances. They need to know what real voices and instruments did in MY ERA! 😮@oholm09
Give the bass player a raise ASAP!

Give the audio engineer a grammy already.
Homie at 11:30 waited his whole life for this moment and did not disappoint.
🙌
Funk is in the house today! Tiny Desk, you've outdone yourself. Nile Rodgers, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee! This is my favorite Tiny Desk performance. Thank you to Mr Rodgers and CHIC. You all made me so happy!
outstanding warrants the tear as i listen and watch
This brought a smile to my face, thank you.
Lol only ten people??? Man do you know how big the coliseum is?
Great, nothing like original member eternal peace Bernard Tony ....
Awesome story! There were really only _10_ people? At the Coliseum?! 🤯
Man, your Pops must've had _some_ stories to tell!!!
Nile's catalog is absolutely ridiculous. What a beautiful moment. Thank you NPR and as always, thank you Josh for making it sound so pristine!
Nile Rodgers is one of the most significant guitarists and musicians of the century.
On desert island discs on uk radio he chose 7 of his own songs. no wonder
Yessir 💯
How good can it get. This good. One the best episodes.
There's very little in this world as awesome as listening to a tight funk band play live.
The tightest funk band. This is an absolute clinic of funk.
Agreed. This is just phenomenal, except Roger's attempt to rap.
Man, lets talk about this bassist????
No words ❤❤❤
Incredible!!
The name please, that man are a Machín omg...
Mr.Jerry Barnes from Greensboro NC!
@11:30 ❤My Man!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Nile Rogers is 71 years old and rocks this joyfully. It's fantastic!
Legend.
I''m here for Soul Glo
11:36
Me too ! Jajajjajajjs
Me too 😂😂😂😂
Here for the Audrey Martells.
Me too
Thanks Mr Rogers for all the hard work that you’ve put in your whole life . I’m hoping that you will get every recognition that you deserve in this life .
Thanks Tiny Desk for this. You brought back the disco era ❤ Nile Rodgers is a genius and Chic were absolutely fantastic!

Every time they do play good time is like a tribute to Bernard Edwards … it was the good time indeed ! RIP dear Bernard … and thank you 🙏🏾 !
Bernard Edwards bass lines and style of bass playing was so smooth. I miss that original sound. Don't get me wrong, the new Chic band style sounds great too!
He was in the same rarefied air for putting down the groove as Michael Wiley and Bootsy Collins.
@VCD512I agree, Tony & Bernard were locked in tight! Nothing ahead or behind the beat.
Definitely the best year for tinydesk. Nile is a funky wizard who has helped and inspired so many.
Muito bom!
Tiny Desk you are a priceless gem to music lovers !!!!!! Thank You NPR 🙏🏾
Sat on the train home crying my eyes out. Pure bliss.
I cried too hommie
can't fight the funk son.
WOW! There have been so many awesome NPR tiny desk shows, but this! What a Joy! I laughed. I cried. I looked up tickets.
Saw them live last weekend in Melbourne Australia. Amazing. Everything you would expect.
Definitely this performance made me consider getting tickets for the first time!
I’ve seen them 3 times, never disappoints. So much fun!
Russell was having the most fun the entire show up till his solo, and he didn't let a single person down. Easily my most rewatched TDC's
11:35 I have watched this so many times!!! So Good
I know right??
Hello ,live music is pure energy, have a Nice day!
It seems we all did. That was just out of this world!
What’s that saying about you can’t judge a book by its cover 😂
A real random memory hahaha
That rendition of Get Lucky (especially with the crowd singing) needs to be recorded as an official version
I’ve seen this 100+ times already and it still makes me so happy. Never remove this from RUclips!!
The best vibes
same here! I can't start the work day without this Tiny!!
The way soul glo came in gave me chills.
Genius.
❤😂🫠🤣🫶
Purveyors of happiness! YESS! We need more of that desperately!
Nile is a National TREASURE!!!!!
These guys consistently sound way better live than the studio recordings
Those recordings are so slick and well produced but live is…wow. Much more warm and funky.
Every talented artist does
@Allen2saint totally agree. Niles isn't a national treasure. He's a global treasure
@kayal5905 true true. Good point
Yes Indeed🎉
This is the BEST EVER tiny Desk Concert...............Im just speechless about this endless talented musicians .......God Bless you ALL! Alohas from Maui!
This is up there with the best Tiny Desk concerts. Not only is Nile Rodgers special, but each member in his band are like leaders, down to the keyboardists, saxophone and then the drummer sings lead really? The bassist is off the charts. Great vocals across the board. They don't even need instruments.
that keyboard players voice made my jaw drop
@harbarycarbary same here as if there wasn't already tons of talent
0:59 that bass walk was nice :=0
It slapped! 🎉
I can't, I just can't put any words together even remotely close to how fantastic this arrangement is, so just... Wow! Love it. Thank you Tiny Desk 🎉
100%
