- I played every Super Smash Bros. game in 2022. This is part 2 of 2! I had a lot of fun with this one and tried to make sure I gave tons of characters screen time here, especially now that all the Smash Bros. DLC is out. I hope you all enjoy this video and I can't wait for you all to see the next one!

Melee was my first, but Ultimate is probably my favorite just from the roster alone.

At least Smash 4 the movement wasn’t so damn clunky. And doesn’t have 10+ frames of input delay.
I owe my entire smash career to an old friend of mine who I played smash 3ds with at lunch in high school. He got me hooked and I wouldn’t be the same without that. Wherever you are, Thanks man

For me, even though I played every Smash when it was new, Ultimate is definitely my favorite! As a lifelong RPG nerd, I still can't believe there's a game with Persona, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts and Xenoblade just all right there! And for me, the game just feels the best, and despite the huge roster, I can have fun playing as almost any character. The whole game is a triumph

You forgot to mention Dark Samus as an echo fighter, and Dr Mario came back in Smash 4.
Happens pretty often. Dark Samus is probably the most forgotten Smash character.

I actually like Smash Tour. It's not the most well designed mode, but it always annoyed me in reviews when people acted like you can't understand what's going on at all. It's really not that hard and it was an interesting idea

Random Stage Toggle has existed since Melee, just FYI. It's *crucial* to how competitive Melee works.

I think smash for wii U will always be my favorite in the series. I love smash bros for its massive showcase of series and while ultimate has the most characters and series represented, that representation is extremely shallow.
While I disagree that Smash WiiU is the best, I do agree that Ultimate feels really shallow. Outside of the massive roster and its inclusion of long-awaited fan-favorites, the rest of the game's content feels incredibly hollow compared to older Smash entries. The Spirits and WoL mode is a poor, cheap replacement for Trophies, Event Matches, and a proper Adventure Mode respectively.
IMO, the main thing I disliked about Smash WiiU when it came out was the lack of meaningful content compared to Brawl and Melee, though that at least could be chalked up to having its content split between it and the 3DS version (which still sucks, but it's still an excuse). 'Ultimate' on the other hand doesn't really live up to its title (outside of its roster, stage selection, and music), especially when it is missing a lot of the things that people loved about previous entries. And the online still sucks tremendously.

Funny story: when playing smash 3ds against one of my nephews, he would always put 8 player & making them Mario or Sonic. Whenever I didn't pick either of those 2, he would scold me 🤣
Every Rhythm Heaven game maybe? Not sure if you‘ve done that already. Must underrated Nintendo series imo, should have a fighter in Smash
Thank you for the video. My favorite smash game is the Ultimate version with all the DLC as it makes it the most ambicious crossover! But I have to question your decision to play Smash 4 3DS on a 3DS emulator, as Smash Run Mode is not easy to emulate on an Emulator yet.
So I was originally looking into getting a capture card for my 3DS but it's outrageously expensive and nearly impossible nowadays. My backup plan was to record footage from my 3DS using a camera, but that didn't work out because my charger is missing and I wouldn't have been able to have a new one delivered in time for the video. I wasn't a fan of using the emulator, but unfortunately it was the only realistic option. 😥

Anime swordfighters in smash is like a family with all girl children. You're reeeaaaally hoping to get something different this time, but every time it's not, you love and accept the new addition to the family.
Honestly the too many swordfighter meme is overblown. Majority of the cast can be classified as brawlers. Also,I like most of the fire emblem cast. Except corrin. Remove corrin

I don't even know where they could go from here, to be honest! Peoples'expectations will be wild after Ultimate and I worry nothing could reach the hype
I was hoping you would say something about profiles. On SB Melee, my family & I created profiles. When we battle we could see our names over our chosen fighter and our stats and preferences were saved. On SB Ultimate, I only see player numbers and can't seem to assign profiles.
The cool thing this is a few bought.Both smash four games for 3 d.S And also who wii u You can get a free copy of the super smash soundtrack

It’s only available if you unlock all the stages. You probably didn’t unlock all of the Melee and Brawl stages, Ultimate gives you all the stages from the beginning,

I may be one of the few people who actually enjoy Smash Tour. I get why it's not everyone's cup of tea but I think it gets too much flak. As for the games themselves I enjoy all of them & while I do primarily play ultimate these days each one is still fun & enjoyable in their own rights. I do miss the custom moves for non-mii fighters & while I can understand why they were taken out I do think they were a fun addition to the series (unlocking process notwithstanding).

ultimates graphics is a sideways step
it looks clear and cleen but the lighting eninge its good at times but it looks wonky at points
The one thing I hate about Spirits is how they don't AT LEAST have a small description to describe each one. I'm not asking for a long detailed one, just SOMETHING that gives us a little info about whatever the Spirit is, and maybe even the first and last appearance dates too. Would be a cool thing for them add in an update later on.

I really loved Ultimate at first, but as time went by I’m just not feeling it. The movement is so stiff and clunky like the characters had a stick up their ass. Also that awful input delay. Just no. And the single player isn’t much but at least better than Smash 4’s. Project Plus is still the GOAT.
