First, I want to say it's a beautiful crawler and the workmanship is outstanding. I don't know very much about crawling, but I would say the weight of the body has to be a big factor. I enjoyed learning about this truly beautiful scale truck. As far as growing your channel and covering some of your costs I would guess the patreon idea would help. I think I don't think I've seen you cover a Tamiya product and may be you have before I subscribed. I think you should continue as you are, add some variety, coverage of more crawling events around other areas, bringing guests as you have in the past and may be some pro racers, continued coverage of cheap rc's, attending events like Axial Fest and whatever you can think of. You are doing a great job. If you wear more caps like that you'll add subscribers.
if you know you know..the craftmanship that boomracing gives you is top notch quality and from the brx01 to the brx02 to the brx01 limited edition all 3 are top notch rc's..boomracing parts and the support is amazing...brx01 build coming soon with full leaf springs cant wait..great in depth video...thank you..
You are the most valuable RC crawling reviewer on RUclips. Because of your servos tests many people could save money choosing right. Every single model is tested at the same obstacles, comparison is much easier like that. Patrosomething would be good, order some stickers with your channel logo to sent it to your patrons in US (would be nice to see other YT crawling videos with your sticker at their rigs I guess) intercontinental sticker delivery is just nonsense 😂 you can also mention those people at the end of the videos like at the end of cinema movie. I know many watchers got pain in their.. because of asking for donations, just don’t give a … about them and do your things. Like I said, cuz of you I’ve saved cash and I’m really grateful. I’m not the only one guy, be honest.
That is one amazing crawler! Can’t believe the body weighs 4 flipping pounds and it can still crawl that well! Would love to get one but can’t afford at the moment but one day that thing’ll be mine!
There's another creator, SUV RVing, that has a separate website with a subscription option for perks. I like that model bc Patreon isn't getting a cut. Just an idea. Love the Defender, easy to believe its a 1:1 in much of the running video.
Finally a Land Rover worth spending more money for ...pretty & practical...and rugged...hopefully more colors to come (pre-colored body?)...thx for the review...and, yeah, great looking palm trees there on your head...XD
@@RCReviewChannel na, didn't notice at first...watched it 2nd time and...yeah, there are Flamingos,...you should model yourself with a tiny rc there as well...this would be the 🍒 on top...in terms of craftsmanship... btw... One last question: Do you/ Did you do any Carisma RC - reviews (before)? I really like the new/ old "Carisma Adventure CA-83168 SCA-1E Ford F-150 2.1 1976 Black RTR 1/10 Scale 313mm" and would like to hear/ see your thoughts on the built-in components as well as easy to achievable/ upgradable aftermarket-parts, i.e. winch, motor, esc, shocks... Anyway...great vid man...keep it up!!! Greets and cheers from Berlin, Germany...
That’s a great place to crawl Francis 😁. I really wish I had friends that enjoyed rc and crawling. But I love it either way. I really want to see a 3rd gen Tacoma 🤞.
Dig you videos and content. Can you recommend which Defender hard body pick up is the easiest to put on a trx4 with basic mods. New to RC and don't want to run the regular Defender body. Love the hard body details. Thanks bro
How does it drive is 2nd gear going flat out with the locked axles? The TRX4 handles high speed very well with the diffs open, but slides very easily with the diffs locked. If the BRX02 had remote locking diffs it would be the best model on the market. Btw Boom Racing offer Spectre fender flares now - to suit your bigger tyres.
@@RCReviewChannel If you go to Patreon on route I encourage you to tie donations to specific purchases. Then turn around and give those purchases away in contests/raffles of some kind. Or even better, find a suitable charity who can raffle them off for donations to their cause.
Patreon is good...is that what youtube has built in to "buy thanks"? I love that BRX02 and what you did to it. What do you think the final cost was to get it to that lvl of performance?
@@Qfrcy Yes, but despite the TRX-4 has a lexan body, it is quite heavy. Plus the BRX02 has carbon frame. I'm not completely sure the TRX-4 will win. But hopefully we will see :-)
Last time I checked on their website, they had the brx01 limited edition, with dualwheels. Golden aluminium chassis. The most wanted Rc in my wish list. ( trx4 owner) 1) brx01 limited edition 2)brx02 the one showed by Francis 3)brxo1 4) trx6 hauler 5) trx6 unimog like the one show by Francis 6) scx10 2. Your videos are great. I myself have gotten a lot of information from you, that being said thank you and your family for you time hope to see many more. Paul cin.oh
So if you mount body clips what are some of the bodies that would fit? And thank you for always providing solid RC reviews & advice. I think people will definitely donate but the cost of that RC is already more then almost anyone can afford realistically. But it’s the RC fanatics that will find a way to get expensive RC’s they like. But everything is going up in price so it’s harder to justify spending so much on a RC right now so that makes it tuff but if everyone paid 1$ that would be a good amount I guess is one way to look at it. Your channel is obviously very well known I’d get some decent stickers or hats t shirts etc. You get $ people get sticker etc etc. I have a hat from another channel & it was a lot more than 1$. Flat bill black rim with the rest camo with your logo is a $ maker stickers also something cool & anything in camo. Just saying.

Thank you so much 😀

$1200 i believe, not including labor.
Can you do a comparison between the Boom Racing BRX 02 model and the D1RC Discovery /D110.
very nice kit
i like heavy vehicle for realism, i have a 15 pounds Defender trx4
Do they offer this truck with the steering wheel on the left side ???
Damn its my wishlist on review 😍
BRX02 with some spectre details so incredible look like on bond movie, although wrong rims.
Nice crawling sir 👍🔥
Yeah, the wheels will change. Gotta find the right ones. And tires. If anyone has links, post them up.
Can this body be used with the brx01 chassis with the correct mounts?
I like the front bumper. Where did you get it? As always, great video!
Ok this is fantastic but how crawls compared to a standard TRX4? Ciao from Italy
theres levels to this my friend and boomracing brx02 is on another level compared to a trx4....trx4=fast food/boomracing=fancy restaraunt...
Awesome review and vehicle 🔥 It would be great to see a comparison against the trx-4 Defender 😁

That would be interesting indeed! However i think the TRX4 would perform better as it weighs less (lexan vs hard body)

Good truck, but not heavy enough for my liking...
Heavier chassis, heavier tires ensures rc trucks won't rip over easily.
And heavier rides more realistically in look & performance.
@@JoeOvercoat correct.
How heavy is ideal for you... for 1/10 scale?
