Just a heads up for folks that don't know, when you buy new hydraulic attachments, the first time you hook them up they use up hydraulic fluid from your machines hydraulic reservoir which inturn lowers its capacity with each implement you hook to it so make sure to keep checking your hydraulic tank gauge and add as needed , otherwise your hydraulic pump may start sucking air and cavitation will burn your hydraulic pump out ,it ,may take up to 5 gallons per new implement to fill all the hoses and pumps , Mike's mini skid sounds like the pump is whining in this video .

I know you like the mini skid but I think if you checked out a flail mower attachment for your KX057 you'd consider one for your brush cutting. I can crawl through the woods and cut brush and limbs in the comfort of the cab. You could trim your road back and never leave the road. No dust, no pollen and other airborne stuff, no bugs and bees. You can cut everything from grass to 4 inch trees with ease. I bought one for my excavator and love it. I always look forward to your videos. Keep em coming!

Planting cereal rye is a good idea. Deer love it and rye releases a toxin that prevents other weeds and grasses from growing in it.
I use it in my plots, I disc up in late spring, plant turnips for summer then disc those up early fall and replant rye for fall and winter.
After a few years of this rotation you can usually plant something like clover/ chicory with less maintenance for a few years.

We weren't allowed to use any type of machine so we used loppers. Everyday. All day. This was near Syracuse NY. It was one heck of a summer. Didn't get paid enough to have to pay taxes.

Mike, love the Vermeer. Make sure to let us know how your calves are doing about two days after you spend a straight 4+ hours on it at the cabin. I recently rented a similar Toro Dingo TX1000 for a day. With the rental place about an hour from the cabin, I had to maximize my on-machine time so I could finish my project and get the machine back before closing. Not so much the day after, but two days after, it took about 30 steps after every time standing up for my calves to loosen up. It's crazy how many muscles you "wake-up" working a little machine like that.

Over the years I have noticed that in your firewood and sheet lumber businesses, very rarely do you let anything go to waste. You always seem to find uses for the various products you create and sell. I have always wondered what people do with all the saw dust created from your lumber milling process. Just wondered if there is a practical use for all the saw dust. The mill process sure does create a lot. These strange things I notice just brings to mind what do people do with the waste. Or is it waste. Thanks for making and producing your channel. It" something I look forward to throughout the week.

Mike, what's your plans for all the "debri" from the bunker? I used to sell alot of firewood and i would share those scraps with customers for kindling. You could bag it up or however you wish and do 5he same or there's tons of other uses.
Also curious about the food plot. Have you had the soil sampled for mineral deficiencies? Field might need some lime or fertilizer to help it out?
Im sure there's plenty of local folks that could do a sample. Just my 2 cents.
