Don't get me wrong, it's out of control. But how exactly is the city promoting criminal activity when the punishment for robbery is 9 years. Like were these people arrested? Get rid of the cash register, accept card only. Keep the front doors locked, people have to ring a door bell to be let in. No masks allowed in the store. It's the same as what pot shop owners are doing in my area to protect themselves. Also, anything that isn't bolted to the floor, don't leave it in the restaurant over night. It wont be there in the morning.
