Unfortunately Table Calc filters can only be applied to one worksheet at a time. Maybe something like this would help with a multi-worksheet hide? onenumber.biz/blog-1/2023/12/6/show-hide-columns-in-tableau-with-a-parameter
I loved the explanation, really superb and very useful trick in real time, My Request is do lot videos on core concept. Thanks for the video, lots of love❤
Thanks so much Eric this was absolutely brilliant! The hidden values in the filter worked like a charm using the Lookup Table Calc for my client names, however when I use other dimension filters, for instance trying to change Region, it seems to reset the Table Calc filter for the client names each time I filter to a new Region, and my screen goes blank. I am actually trying to use your technique to exclude a single client name value across multiple regions, but it's not working dynamically/interactively when regions are changed with my filter. Does this have to do with the scope of the table calculation perhaps?
Can i know how we can do with months and years involved in filter. If i add last () = 1, last 2 months in the last year is getting filtered but i need the filter on last two years (all the months in the last 2 years). How can we do it?
It sounds like you need to update the scope of the Table Calculation. You should select Specific Dimensions and only leave Year selected. This post provides more info on Specific Dimensions: onenumber.biz/blog-1/2018/1/18/tableau-table-calculations-what-does-specific-dimensions-mean

Thank you! Can you manually hide them? Like add the "Client Name" field to the Rows shelf, right-click on the one you want to hide and select "Hide"?
