Hallo tolles video, wie immer...! I just wanted to mention, if you would like a brown sauce with your suffed peppers instead of a tomato sauce...., you could start browning the stuffed peppers on the top side ( the meat side) , fill it up with beef broth , thickened later and you have a nice brown gravy....
    Love your vids...,have fun!!

We make porcupine meatballs with ground beef and my wife makes a really good Hamburger roast with ground beef which is what we had for lunch today.

Haschee is similar to what my family always made in Texas, we always called it Gulasch.

I told my sister inlaw if you add eggs and breadcrumbs to burgers it's meatloaf. 🙂 I do like meatloaf but not in my burgers. Looks delicious have a great week.😉

I hope you find success next time making Leberkäse. It was my favorite quick meal in Munich!

The first one is very similar to what we call stroganoff. Some people use chunks of beef and it's served over egg noodles, mashed potatoes and sometimes rice. In,my home, it has mushrooms. Since the beef chunks have to cook for a long time, it's usually for leftover roast or hamburger will do

Marta, leberkäse/fleischkäse needs to emulsify. Like all Kochwurst types, if you don't emulsify your meat mixture, it'll stay grainy. The fat turns to oil, leaving everything dry & grainy. Whereas by emulsify, the fat binds to the meat. _(And yes, you need not only a pretty powerful meat grinder, you also need a powerful mixer.)_ Otherwise, once you have the equipment, it's not that difficult. _(And there's nothing like leberkäse fresh out of the oven. Best for you is to find a metzger, who you know makes theirs on a set time-table.)_

Yeah, I will try to make Leberkäse again one day, but until then I will stick to the ones that we can buy at butcher shop;)

@@cooking-the-world Kind of like me. I know how to make it. Just my kitchenette is so small, that there's no way that I could store the needed machines. So, I'm dependent on outside sources. _(It also really doesn't make much sense to make just one loaf. Meat grinders don't differ much in size. But the mixer strong enough, can easily do 4 loaves at one time. That's a _*_lot of_*_ leberkäse.)_

Instead of Hackbraten "Falscher Hase" is often made. Indeed it is nothing else but Hackbraten, that had been filed additionally. Traditionally boiled eggs are put into the Hackbraten, which is a common recipe, but you can stuff it of course with other incredients. A mediterranean version is e.g. without eggs, but using italien spices and feta cheese.

I guess one of my favorite ground meat dishes is Texas chili without beans no tomato products either.
Another is stuffed peppers no rice.
A tomato based pasta sauce I make that is to die for because people have said so.
It has about 20 different ingredients in it and you can't tell what it is.
    Hamburg steak for sure.
    Various wurst.
    Meatballs.
    Soups.
    Lol to many to name.

Meatballs, meatloaf and stuffed peppers with tomato sauce, much as you make them, were treats of my childhood that we still make! Another came later. Sixty plus years ago, after a weekend of hiking in New Hampshire, we would stop at my buddie's Mother's on the way back. His family were of Polish heritage. There was always an iron kettle of stuffed cabbage on the back of the stove. However, after rolling the cabbage leaf filled with meat stuffing, they were stacked on end until they filled the kettle. A little water was added to steam them. Plain and hearty, they made a regal meal for two hungry hikers!
