I just purchased this about a month ago. The EC5 is now part of that octopus group, so ready to go to charge my 3S battery. Still inexpensive at $60. I'm a noob so glad to get started with less expensive charger.
Good show and informative as always. New guys want a $50 charger and this one comes with almost everything we want. From what I'm watching seems like a good value.
Sadly the tester is no longer included. I used your amazon link and it didn't come. Other reviews said it was missing and its no longer listed in the description.
Just a heads up. I just ordered this model today. When it arrived there is still no ec5 plug in the octopus. Be sure if youre ordering this charher that you make sure to order an ec5 banana plug too or this charger wont work with your ec5 battery
Greetings. I have a htrc c150 charger. I charged the battery with 20 amps and showed 22 amps. How to enter the engineering menu for calibration. How do I calibrate my device?
I'm sorry but Im Mentally disabled and maybe bought the wrong charger cause I don't understand all that. Do they make a fast charger that you just plug you Lipo batteries up and just charge?
Is this better than the htrc b6 v2 charger? I need a good charger around 50 dollars and this looks perfect. My venom 2-4s charger only charges at a max of 3.0 amps and it takes forever to charge my 5000mah 2s and 3s batteries.
Hey razor. I've had this charger awhile... Why when I connect to certain batteries it can't read the voltage on all or some of the cells? Just leaves it blank instead?
This is a sick charger, I bought the white one. I have a question about it. Does it automatically stop the charge once it’s charged. If not so, how will I know when my battery is fully charged
Ya I used it today and it did that. This charger is awesome because usually chargers at 10A are very expensive and require power supplies, and this one doesn’t.

Hey razor I set up my new charger this one and it seems really nice. Thanks for the heads up! Hey quick question I charged up about 4 of my lipos but on one of my 3s packs it's showing cell one and 2 charged at 4.19v and 4.20v but the 3rd is staying at 4.17v and 98%. Is that a big deal? I notice thr charge doesn't completely finish. It's going on about 10 min at this stand still. Any advice for a novice? I Greatly appreciate the help!
Chris Watson you can just stop the charge. One of your cells is probably not that great, you could also try changing one of the settings (I think it’s called accuracy or something) from normal to fast. It will stop sooner rather than keep trying to charge that last cell up to the others.
@@RazorRC Awesome buddy! I appreciate the help! Yeah it was just barely off. The 2 were at 4.20 and the 3rd was at like 4.19. That doesn't mean my lipo is junk does it? Also I really love this charger. I charged 5 lipos (some weren't that drained) in about a hr! I used your link. Thanks again for the recommendation. I'm really happy with it!
Hey razor I'm getting the htrc t240 based off your review and I was wondering do you still recommend it? Should I get the touch screen or the 5$ cheaper one? Also how has your awanfi lipos held up? Are they good or junk and stay away from them? Thanks buddy.
Awanfis have been really good so far, definitely recommended. Not sure on the T240 now, need a few more months of usage to make sure my second one doesn't break. I haven't heard of many problems with it though, so probably OK.

@@ibringthelastwords1358 The good thing about this one is that it has a cooling fan, the imax B6 gets too hot.

Weird I just bought one and it only has ec3 no ec5. Wish I would have known and done my research first.

I've had the C240 for a while now and it's been great. My only complaint is the fans are quite loud but in all fairness it also has never gotten hot.

Crashed RC yes, it should stop. Or if the amps get down really low, like less than 1 amp, you can stop it because it’s pretty much done.
