I havent heard ppmd's commentary before but I really love it. He keeps up with the gameplay so much, I could almost just listen to him and the audio queues to know whats happening. blind people in.

I would honestly attribute a lot of his growth this year to Slippi.
@@DG-qj9lw Yeah, also another factor was that even before Slippi he was Top 3 since he got 3rd on both Genesis and Summit before pandemic, and he got 3rd on the 2019 MIOM rankings (He should have gotten 2nd since he won the two most stack tournaments of 2019 been GOML and Big House)
Slippi pretty much push the boundaries of his limit, and keep him in shape, surpassing peak Hungrybox and peak Armada, putting him into a collision course with Zain.

None guesses and hard reads/commits a lot. It's a hit or miss strategy. Zain, I'll give it to ya. Though with how bad Zain was playing and how good Mang0 was playing I wouldn't be surprised if Mang0 won in a more difficult circumstance aswell.

Mango’s set vs Hbox honestly seemed like he was trying to make a statement to Hbox that he isnt a threat at the absolute top anymore, and hes gotta get his ass to work. He literally didnt camp him for even a second in that set and just ran a train on him.

@@jasperjones8401 I don't see it as rooting against him as much as I just wanna see some dope melee and that's less likely to happen when I know hbox is focusing more on his stream. It's a catch 22 cause I like his stream but I hate only seeing glimpses of his peak in melee nowadays. Especially when everyone else is leveling up with Slippi.
His dad died a couple of days ago. He's not 100% right now, but he still has the talent. He only lost to Mang0 and iBDW this tournament, literally the two players who reached grand finals.
