The licensed games of old that were suprisingly good will always be a strange but fascinating thing to me
Peter Jackson's King Kong being genuinely great surprised me even back then as a kid
LIcensed games got a foul reputation, but once you take a deep dive it turns out a lot of them were pretty damn rad.
The Thing ps2 game was absolutely awesome, I'm still surprised by it lol

Back when Blood on the Sand came out, I remember a lot reviewers being surprised by how fun it actually was. I passed on it though because I've never been into rap. Shame it's so damn expensive now, I'd love to experience the sheer absurdity of the game.
Thrift stores my man. I got a copy for the 360 for like, 2 bucks. I’m sure they turn up decently often
Emulation is a option if you have a decent pc it runs really well these day rpcs3.
Yo, this reminds me of how when I was in gradeschool I hustled up a whole gang of money to buy 50 cent bullet proof off one of my classmates (since my mom was on of those moms who didn't you play games outside of your age range). This shit was hard, dog. Plus it was the only way to listen to all my favorite 50 tracks. All I could find online were 30 second clips of songs that took a about an hour to load and was censored all to hell. G-G-G-G-G-G-G-G-Good times.

Blood on the Sand is legit. I've had it since it hit bargain bin prices like a year after release and it legitimately remains one of my favorite third person shooters. The swear button is one of gaming's greatest innovations.

Never been into Hip Hop but always heard of the 50cent name. Otherwise keep hearing of Defjam know nothing it's just that side of gaming people seem to talk about now (my guess is as Hip Hop is big again while I care for EDM more) but I know nothing about or care for but willing to hear about for the sake of curiosity/covering research of different sides of gaming old, niche or particular sides.
Also a 3rd person cover shooter before or after Killswitch? Otherwise good AI which forgetting the name but one Minimme covered a few videos ago with a tactical shooter group of NPCs that do a pretty good job good to know.
