Somehow stumbled into what feels like old RUclips in 2022. Genuine humor, thought out scripts, my attention was held FOR FOURTY MINUTES on a random channel I've never even heard of. You put a lot of heart into this video and it shows.
Got recommended the Obi-wan game he made a video of myself, and after watching it I was shocked to see he didn't have at least 300k subs. At least I've done my part now, well worth it, this guy is hilarious and the videos are really well done.
Faithful viewers, thank you so much your patience! It's been a hell of a ride to 1000 subs and it means a lot to see your comments and anticipation for these videos. Sincerely, I wish I had the capacity to upload way more frequently because you all deserve so much more. I got a lot of junk I NEED to show you so thank you for consistently sticking around despite the wait.
I feel like this genre of RUclips is dominated by older guys who all have really similar personalities and senses of humor, as well as similar styles of content creation. That makes your channel a real breath of fresh air. I’m interested to see how the way we see and talk about game history changes as the majority of those teaching/learning about it become too young to have been a part of it.
Yesss, excellent observation! I hadn't thought about it but most of the most interesting unique channels are younger guys. This channel gives me ThorHighHeels vibes where they feel like they're just talking, like these are just thoughts they had, not a script written and rewritten, even though it is
@@pauls4522 i mean there’s nothing wrong with a bunch of 30-40 year old dudes having similar personalities. You can understand that their content has created a gap of interest while also understanding that it is still valid. It’s possible to have two thoughts at once.
The fact that this video only has less than 300 views is a crime dude, your mic quality, editing and script felt like a RUclipsr with atleast 500k subs
For real, the song you made on 4:15 rocks. You took the song from the game and added some fun lyrics. It sounds like a real song. I genuinely enjoy the editing of your videos. But the song you composed was top notch and also hilarious. It just sounded so good. If that were a real song, I'd listen to it. Good job
I traded in my SNES and games just to get the N64 console just after its launch. I remember even as a 8 year old getting mad at the cashier there was no Mario 64 as a pack in. My parents wouldn't indulge my video game habit back then and let me "learn my lesson" after sacrificing everything just to get a console that was the equivalent of a paper weight. I saved whatever money I could for MONTHS just to get Shadows of the Empire as my first N64 game (no other game was in stock, apparently). I played the ever loving sh*t out of that game, and it holds a special place in my heart. Ironically my parents bought me SoTE toys for Christmas (Dash Rendar toy plus the Outrider) but wouldn't buy me the game, or any games. They really must have disliked video gaming. Your general review of it is pretty apt. Yeah those speeder levels were bullsh*t and getting all the medals in it was both fun and frustrating.
Your sense of humor is top notch. I usually get bored and stop watching some of the other reviewers’ longer videos. I sat through this whole video and was entertained every moment of it.
Found your channel through the Launch vs Last PSP video and made my way to this one. You've got that bit of flair/style/personality that feels like a combination of a bunch of things from childhood that when it all comes together feels unique yet so familiar. Love the channel dude!
In my 25 years of life I have NEVER heard anyone use Forsaken's soundtrack in a video. It's such a random game that I've played way too much since I was a kid and to just randomly hear it used in a hype package for the N64 is awesome! Also you're whole channel is high quality keep it going!
I did not expect to sit down and watch this all the way through. What a great video taking about my favorite childhood console! This is a great series. I think a PS3 launch/last video would make a great video.
Damn what the hell 6k views? Your humour + writing, editing, narrating all punch way above your sub count. Also launch vs last is just an amazing idea for a format

Great video, you and I share a lot of similar sentiments on these games, especially Conker's BFD. I still play through that game every couple of years and have a blast each time.
Aidyn Chronicles was one of the few N64 games we had in the box, and boy did we try hard to play that game. I always wondered why characters missed so much in combat, but when I played tabletop DnD for the first time I understood.
Found you randomly and subscribed. Pilot Wings 64 was so awesome at launch. I remember just flying around exploring the maps and not competing challenges it was so relaxing. And pretending i was a Pilot at that age was super fun with he helicopter thing.
Bro, i fucking love your channel. Great quality, great humor, insanely watchable content.. thank you for all your hard work, one of my only subs and sub with NOTIFICATIONS ON.. thats how dope your shit is and i enjoy your content!
Great video, watched it all the way through. I would love to see one about the original Xbox. The fact that the machine supported a full programmable render pipeline allowed for some really impressive results (eg. Doom 3, Riddick, Far Cry Instincts), making it a sort of 6.5th gen console
Holy cow, that train level in Shadows of the Empire. I was at a friend's house and loaded one of his save files just to try the game out. He was on the train level and that was my first experience with the game. It was....not my finest gaming moment.
hahah was glad to see how Infernal Machine actually plays. We've had a few copies at the store-- all have blockbuster anti-theft stickers & they're still worth close to $100 loose. Crazy.
I'm really late on this video, but man, I love the way you approach games like Shadows of the Empire and Infernal Machine. I only played Infernal Machine for the first time a couple of years ago, but I was so impressed with what that game achieved. It's nice to a really earnest and genuine take on it =D And 100% agreed on Mario 64! Fluid is the perfect word - there's no other game that I feel quite as much freedom in controlling.
PilotWings 64 is honestly my favorite N64 game, it was challenging with some replay value, and the exploration is so chill. I have maybe a dozen of the most popular N64 games and would go back to PW64.
Mario 64, Zelda Ocarina & Manjora, Mario Kart & Star Wars Speed Racer- Those games made that console and you don't need it for nothing else. What legendary games!
Good lord…not Turok 2. As a 7 year old after a blockbuster trip, I eagerly put that in my system and experienced probably my first wtf moment. I didn’t quite understand how they got there from the original. Still to this day I can’t stand Turok 2, but am in love with the original.
When I popped in All-stars and booted up 64. I found Mario controlled super tight and fluid. The camera I rarely adjusted. I just felt so refreshed after playing the game. I completely agree with your statements on Mario 64
I'm blown away that you didn't know about the bug splatters in Cruisn' USA! Half our goal was to count them and see who had more at the end of the race!
Some lamentations that we got a quick clip of Sin & Punishment, such a late game N64 game that we didn't see it stateside until 5 years later on the WiiShop. And it was worth the wait. I have downloaded Sin & Punishment 2: Star Successor on the WiiU, but have yet to boot it up, because honestly, how do you top the original that's so over the top and ends with a gloriously retro final battle?
