It is hard to explain. I don't have the words yet actually. Not sure if I ever will. But something about getting an inside glimpse of this artist's life, changed mine forever. She didn't move to New Mexico permanently until she was in her 60s. She preferred solitude, and she remained true to her God given talents her whole life. Her authenticity touched my soul and inspired me deeply.

I agree Debra. I was lucky enough to be in Santa Fe when the Georgia O'Keefe museum opened. It is beautiful. I had already been to a discussion on her and her life the summer before going to the museum. Just a lovely woman.

I live in Santa Fe, and have visited Ghost Ranch several times. I have camped in the camp ground in a tent a few times and it’s so special to wake up there and see the magical colors. What a remarkable place and artist. Few people realize she was a millionaire in the 1920’s.
She was a trailblaser ....love her work and authetheic self. Great video.

Cool places to go and see...love Padernal Mountain. It looks somewhat similar to a volcano, with a huge mouth! Also love the cottonwood trees. Georgia's first home tour, wow! Beautiful and spacious. I believe this video to be your best to date. I appreciated the pace, the non vocals, the visuals and, especially, the choice of music. An added bonus was the utilization of written commentary at the bottom of the video so as to keep vocals to a minimum. Very nice overview of the subject. Thank you. 🙂

@@authordebradickinson I am going to try to find a “print” once I get into my new home, to hang on my wall. My house sale is closing on Thursday. I am trying to find something in Colorado that I can afford so I don’t need to move to Lincoln NE. Please pray that I find something suitable. We have permission from the buyers to stay in the house for 30 days, which means I will be without a place to live after Sept 24 if I can’t find something. I am so glad I have my “no build build” van, but it isn’t insulated yet.

I worked at Ghost Ranch .the guardians are the Presbyterian church in Albuquerque .LA Mesa church.
That must have been a cool experience. It was my experience while there for that short period of time that the staff members were not very helpful or nice so I didn't mention the church.
